Beomgyu, all dressed up in a crisp white shirt and some comfy baggy jeans, made his way over to Taehyun's place with so much excitement bubbling inside him. And there, standing nervously outside his house, was Taehyun himself. "Beom!" Taehyun exclaimed with a glimmer of excitement in his eyes. A huge smile instantly spread across Beomgyu's face as he made his way towards Taehyun. And then, in that precious moment, Beomgyu couldn't help but ask, "Can I hug you?" Taehyun's cheeks turned a lovely shade of pink, but he nodded his head, looking down at his shoes. It was almost unbelievable for both of them to grasp the fact that they were actually dating now.

Beomgyu wrapped his arms tightly around Taehyun, and Taehyun eagerly hugged him back, his cheeks still flushed. "This is our first date as a couple," Beomgyu whispered into Taehyun's ear, causing him to flinch. "Beomgyu, don't do that," Taehyun muttered, feeling a little embarrassed. "Do what?" Beomgyu smirked mischievously. "Whatever you did," Taehyun mumbled, looking away. Beomgyu couldn't help but chuckle as he looked directly at Taehyun. "I think you liked it," he teased. Taehyun rolled his eyes and playfully smacked him. Then, Beomgyu pointed at himself and asked, "How do I look?" Taehyun quietly observed Beomgyu, then shrugged and muttered, "You look pretty as always." Beomgyu's eyes widened in surprise. "Pretty? You never called me pretty before.

You should have told me that before too!" he pouted. Taehyun shrugged nonchalantly. "You're so self-obsessed and wouldn't stop with your narcissistic lines, so I never did," he explained. Beomgyu grinned mischievously and said, "I mean, when you look like me, you can't help it, right?" Taehyun just rolled his eyes in response. "Then why are you saying it now? You don't find me annoying anymore?" Beomgyu questioned as they continued walking on the pavement. Taehyun eyed Beomgyu up and down, biting his lip, and then winked at him. "Guess why?" he said in a seductive tone.

Taehyun and Beomgyu were practically bursting with excitement as they made their way to Beomgyu's all-time favorite cafe for their very first day as a couple. The moment they stepped inside, they were greeted by a friendly atmosphere that instantly made them feel right at home. And oh, the aroma of the food that wafted through the air was simply divine, making their stomachs growl with anticipation.

With their hunger piqued, the two boys eagerly placed their orders and found a cozy table to settle into. As they sat together, side by side, Taehyun couldn't help but notice Beomgyu's infectious smile. It was like a ray of sunshine that illuminated the entire room. Intrigued, Taehyun leaned in and playfully asked, "Why do you keep grinning like a Cheshire cat?"

Beomgyu, unable to contain his happiness, leaned against Taehyun and whispered, "I'm just so darn happy when I'm with you, babe." Taehyun was taken aback by the sincerity in Beomgyu's voice, and a soft chuckle escaped his lips. He watched Beomgyu with a mixture of admiration and adoration, his heart swelling with affection. Unable to resist, Taehyun leaned in closer and whispered, just loud enough for Beomgyu to hear, "I feel the same way, you know."

Beomgyu's ears perked up like an excited puppy, his eyes shining with anticipation. "What did you say? Tell me, tell me!" he exclaimed, unable to contain his curiosity. Taehyun, feeling a hint of shyness, gently pushed Beomgyu's face away, a playful smirk on his lips. "Oh, it's nothing," he mumbled, not quite used to all the sweet talk just yet.

But Beomgyu wasn't about to let it slide. He continued to tease Taehyun, his eyes sparkling mischievously. "Come on, spill the beans! I want to know every little thing you said," he insisted, leaning in closer once again. Taehyun couldn't help but laugh, his heart full of affection for the boy sitting right beside him.

Just then they were interrupted by someone tapping Beomgyu's shoulder and calling out his name making Beomgyu turn towards that person, it was a girl with a wolf cute and an oversized shirt with shorts. It was Minjeong.

When Beomgyu saw Minjeong, his face lit up with excitement. He greeted her with a big smile and asked, "Hey, what brings you here?" Meanwhile, Taehyun wasn't exactly thrilled about her presence and stayed quiet, giving off a slightly cold vibe. It seems like he's not Minjeong's biggest fan.

Minjeong casually mentioned that she was hanging out with Jimin, and Beomgyu couldn't resist teasing her a bit. "Oh, so it's a date with Jimin, huh?" he playfully remarked. She chuckled and winked at Beomgyu, saying, "Well, you caught me. It's a secret date." That definitely got Beomgyu even more amused, and his grin widened teasing Minjeong more.

But then Minjeong turned her attention to Taehyun and Beomgyu, asking what they were up to. Taehyun didn't say a single word, but his eyes were filled with amusement as he looked at Beomgyu. Beomgyu, feeling a bit awkward, muttered, "Oh, we're just hanging out, you know, like best friends do."

"Friends huh?" Taehyun questioned, and Beomgyu froze for a moment and then nodded letting our an awkward laugh, "y-yeah" he stuttered.

Taehyun's reaction seemed to catch Beomgyu off guard, leaving him completely speechless.

Taehyun nodded to himself, as if he had come to some sort of conclusion. It's clear that there was tension between the two of them, and even Minjeong noticed it. Sensing the situation, she gracefully excused herself, saying, "Well, I'll leave you guys to it. Take care, okay?" Giving Beomgyu and Taehyun some space to figure things out.
"Friends," Taehyun kept mumbling to himself as he absentmindedly stirred his drink with the straw. Beomgyu noticed his friend's distant expression and couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt. He leaned closer to Taehyun and gently placed a hand on his shoulder, trying to break through the silence that hung between them.

"Tae... I'm sorry. I thought you wouldn't want others to know yet," Beomgyu explained softly, his voice filled with remorse. Taehyun glanced at him, his eyes conveying a mix of emotions. He nodded slowly, still lost in his own thoughts, as if contemplating the situation.

Feeling a sense of urgency, Beomgyu's pout deepened as he leaned in closer, his voice filled with a desperate plea. "Tae... don't be like this." He searched Taehyun's face for any sign of forgiveness or understanding.

Taehyun let out a heavy sigh, his gaze shifting from Beomgyu to the swirling liquid in his glass. It was clear that he was wrestling with his emotions, torn between his feelings and the fear of what it all meant. Finally, he spoke, his voice laced with vulnerability. "Whom would you date if Minjeong was a guy and I was a girl?"

Beomgyu's eyebrows furrowed as he tried to wrap his mind around the question. He sighed, realizing the complexity of the situation. "Goodness, Taehyun, don't you dare ask me such questions," he replied, a mix of exasperation and affection in his tone. It was a difficult hypothetical scenario, one that tested the boundaries of  their relationship.

As Taehyun sat there, swirling his drink in his glass, a mix of emotions swirled within him. His mind was preoccupied, and Beomgyu, who had been observing him quietly, couldn't help but feel a sense of concern. With a soft sigh, Beomgyu leaned in, his actions gentle and deliberate, and placed a tender kiss on Taehyun's cheek.

The unexpected gesture caught Taehyun off guard, his cheeks flushing with a rosy hue. "What are you doing?" he managed to utter, his attempt to feign annoyance failing as a smile tugged at the corners of his lips. Beomgyu, his gaze filled with remorse, looked into Taehyun's eyes with a pleading expression. "I'm sorry," he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper. Taehyun shook his head, his smile now fully formed, and whispered back, "Just promise me you won't do that again." Despite his words, Taehyun couldn't hide the happiness that radiated from him, grateful for the unexpected display of affection from Beomgyu.

Just as the two of them were happily enjoying their time together at the cafe, the familiar ringtone of Taehyun's phone pierced the air, causing a momentary panic to wash over him. It was Moonbyul calling. Taehyun's voice trembled slightly as he answered, "Hello, noona?" The worry and hesitation in Moonbyul's voice were evident as she spoke, "Tae... something has happened." Taehyun's heart skipped a beat as he swallowed hard, his mind racing with concern. "What happened?" he managed to ask, his voice reflecting his fear. Moonbyul's response was a soft hum, adding to the tension in the air. "Please come to the hospital right now," she pleaded.

Taehyun's immediate concern was for his mother. "Is Mom alright?" he asked, his voice filled with anxiety. Moonbyul's answer was cryptic, "Please come and see her right now. I think she wants to see you." Panic surged through Taehyun, his palms becoming sweaty as he realized the urgency of the situation. "I'm coming," he muttered, his voice determined, before abruptly ending the call.
