The baby sock you've been missing for many years
will only reappear
when you defeat your childhood enemies
and become friends with the past.
The baby sock that has missed its pair
will have it back,
you won't know if it's under your childhood bed
or in the bottom of your closet
but you'll have to fight your mind
for years
and learn how to maintain equanimity
in times of bad and good
and only then
you will have your missing baby sock back.
