After everything I went through with my Willow
after many years with my soul
the flowers, the wedding, and the many amazing hours
...I wake up
and make myself a cup of coffee
while calling for my willow,
I think they went out
to look at the hummingbirds,
but I snap back into this world
and realize
you were never my willow,
you were never the other half of my body,
and I've been dreaming,
when I woke up from this dream of happiness
that was so real to me
I knew I never had my soul,
and I have to keep searching for it in my lilac grove
but I don't know if I'll find my half
because of everything I went through
with you was so real.
