I know you don't care anymore
but I found love in myself,
I compliment myself every day,
I respect my own opinions,
I do the stuff I want to
& I love looking into my mirror,
everything you found hard to do
I found it easier to do myself
I don't hesitate with anything
or anyone as you did
I never knew how easy this was
until I left you
and left your conditional love
involving your insecurities getting piled onto mine
for my own unconditional self-love.
