A beautiful pond in the middle of nowhere
held cranes, living bright & calm.
They made the pond lovely, with gorgeous families.
I'd spend many of my days admiring them, gracefully
everything was so peaceful.
Until one day thousands of scorpions came
to attack the cranes and their families,
taking over their entire bodies
and controlling their every move, every feeling, and every emotion.
The pond that once was so lively and green
now it is dark & gloomy,
nobody will go there anymore
not even myself
even after the scorpions are long gone,
because we are scared they will come back
and control all of us.
