Haunted House of Dhriti (Her Basement)

Dhriti and Chris arrived at her basement. Chris parked the bike and joined her.

"DK, why did you want me to find Anvith and bring him here?" Chris asked, curious about her motives.

"Because he works for Red Marvel," she replied flatly. Chris was taken aback; according to his information, Anvith had no ties to Red Marvel, yet Dhriti claimed otherwise.

"What? How do you know that? The info I gathered states Anvith has no connection with them," Chris inquired.

"Your information is wrong. I saw him seven years ago at that warehouse, and that's when I learned he was associated with Red Marvel," she explained just as someone opened the door. The house was large and eerie, with a massive door featuring an unusual lock. The black interiors were dusty, making the place feel like a haunted house, which is exactly why Dhriti had purchased it.

"Hello, Anvith. Do you remember me?" Dhriti asked as she spotted a man tied to a chair.

"Who are you? Why did you bring me here?" he shouted.

"You forgot me, Anvith? No worries, let me jog your memory... seven years ago... a girl... in a warehouse-"

"Dhriti," he exclaimed in shock.

"So you do remember me?" Dhriti asked, pleased.

"Of course. How could I forget? That night... ugh... it's all etched in my memory. But I'm surprised to see you're still alive," he said with a creepy smile.

"I'm glad you remember! And it seems it's unfortunate for you that I'm still here," she replied with a devilish smirk.

"You're the one who's unlucky... you're about to make the same mistake you made seven years ago," Anvith warned.

"What can I say, Anvith? I enjoy making mistakes. Now, let's cut to the chase. Where's your brother? I've been searching for him for a month with no leads. And what do you know about Red Marvel?" she stated bluntly.

Anvith gave her a mocking smile. "Did you really think I'd be scared into spilling everything I know about Red Marvel?"

"Exactly, he's right, Chris. If I don't intimidate him, how will he reveal the truth? So, Chris, please help me remove this blazer," she said with a smirk.

"Ouch... take it easy, Chris," Dhriti said as he helped her with the blazer.

"Sorry, DK," Chris replied as he removed it.

"Thanks, Chris. I'll select the tools now," she told him and the men standing nearby.

"As you wish, DK," Chris said, grinning. Dhriti walked over to the desk filled with tools and weapons, scanning her options.

"Hmmm... I'm really unsure what to take... Pliers, chisel, and hammer-yeah, this should do for now," she decided, grabbing the tools and making her way back to Anvith.

"You said you wouldn't be afraid of me, right? Let me change that, Anvith," her expression darkened.

"You can try anything, Dhriti, but I won't say a word," Anvith shouted defiantly.

"Alright, let me give it a shot," she said, a wicked smile creeping onto her lips. Dhriti took a seat in front of him, placing the tools she had gathered on a nearby table. She picked up a chisel and twirled it deftly between her fingers. Anvith's gaze was fixed on the chisel, his eyes wide with dread. Without warning, she drove the chisel into his left thigh.
