I'm completely confused

I'm completely confused. As I drive to my office, I realise I also need to stop by my villa, where my brother currently lives. I can't shake off what Isha Di said yesterday; it's left me feeling unsettled. I need to have a conversation with my brother and clear the air. I decided to head to my villa. I haven't mentioned to Aarush that I might visit my brother, as I worry he may insist on coming along. While I'd love to share the time with him, I really want to focus on reconnecting with my brother and helping him with his unnecessary worries.

As I make up my mind, I pull over to call Aarush and let him know about my visit, but the line keeps coming up busy no matter how many times I try. I let out a frustrated sigh and opted to send him a quick text instead, letting him know I'll be visiting my brother.

After sending the message, I accelerate back onto the road, eager to reach the villa. The journey seems to drag on, even though I’m driving quickly; perhaps it’s my eagerness to see my brother that's making it feel slow.

When I finally arrive, I park in the driveway, get out, and walk up to the door, where I ring the doorbell. Isha Di opens the door, her face lighting up with a smile when she sees me.

“Cutie!” she exclaims, pulling me into a warm hug.

“I didn't expect you to drop by so suddenly,” she says as we break apart.

“I’ve been feeling restless since you shared everything yesterday, so I made up my mind to come see you today,” I replied.

“I'm glad you didn't put it off,” she says, leading me into the living room.

“Is he here?” I ask, wanting to know if my brother is around.

“Yes, he is. Let me call him,” Isha Di responds with a nod.

“Vikram! Vikram!” she calls up the stairs.

“Yeah, Baby?” his voice echoes from upstairs.

“Come downstairs and see who’s come to visit you!” she yells back. I stand by and wait for him to appear.

“Who is it—Princess?” His sulky expression instantly brightens when he spots me.

“Eatta!” I walk over and wrap him in a tight embrace, feeling his warmth provide me some comfort.

“Princess, what’s wrong? Is everything okay? Why did you come here unannounced?” he asks gently, placing his hand on my cheek.

“Why not? Am I not allowed to visit my brother whenever I want? Was I supposed to schedule an appointment?” I questioned, raising an eyebrow.

“No, you don’t need one. You’re always welcome here,” Eattan replied, his smile warm and genuine.

“So you didn’t need your sister-in-law, huh? Just fine,” Isha said playfully, pretending to sulk.

“It’s nothing like that. You’re my only sister-in-law, so I guess in a way, I’m here to see you too,” I said, taking her hand in mine.

“Isha, sweetheart, don’t be jealous of the bond I have with my sister,” Eattan said, wrapping an arm around my shoulders.
