“Riti! Open your eyes, please!” I heard the distant voice of Aarush. It took me so much struggle to open my heavy eyelids.

“God!” Aarush let out a heavy sigh as he pressed his lips on my forehead.

“Eattan? Where is he?” I asked, scanning the surroundings around me.

I am in my villa.

“He is in the police station.” Aarush replied.

“What!” I sat up from the bed.

“Yes. He exposed the network of Red Marvel through his channel and he went to the police station handing over the evidence against the Red Marvel directly to the ACP.” His fingers run down to my hair, maybe to calm down the turmoil brewing inside me.

“And what about him? Did my brother hand him over to the police?” I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.

“No. Your brother informed the police that he is missing.” Aarush said.

“Because he is dead now.” I whispered.

“He is not.” Aarush's words caught my attention, “he is not dead, your brother had locked him up in the Gothic house of yours.”

“It would be better if he died. It's not safe to let him live longer.” I said, looking at Aarush.

“Don't worry. Me and your brother won't let him see the outside world anymore.” He promised and I trust him.

Everything that happened two hours ago flashes in my mind like an old film. How met with the revelation that my dad, my own father, is the Red Marvel. My father itself is the one who is responsible for utter misery I had gone through in my life.

The same person who is responsible for the death of the two persons who I loved most.

How did I miss that wolf wrapped in sheepskin?

It was my fault.

My chain thoughts are broken when a thumb brushes over my cheeks. I looked at Aarush and he was wiping away my tears that I hadn't yet realized that escaped from my eyes.

“Don't cry for that peace of a shit man, he doesn't deserve a single tear from you.” He kissed away the tears that were flowing.

He is right, that man doesn't deserve my tears but it hurts. It hurts so much.

There is a part of me, a small part of me wants these all as a nightmare. A nightmare I woke up from.

“Please Babydoll, don't cry like this.” I looked at him with my tear filled eyes.

"He killed my grandpa... he killed my mom... he even killed my soul... he tainted my pure soul, Aarush." I was becoming breathless as I said each word. And I saw this coming.
