I was too shocked by her reaction, I was standing numb in front of her. She just said my touch. . . my touch disgusts her. Every time she was the one who used to say my touch was different. But now she is saying that my touch disgusts her. What the fuck happened to her? Her face is stained with tears. I want to hold her close to me and want to comfort them like I used to but she is not allowing me to do that.

“NO! NO! NO!” She screamed pressing her both hands on her ears. I again tried to go near her but she stepped back.

“Stay away from me. Just stay away from me!” She yelled breaking the flower vase near her. What is happening to my Babydoll?

“Calm down, Babydoll. It’s me,” I said softly as I again tried to hold her but she took the broken piece of the vase and put it in her wrist.

“STAY AWAY! Otherwise, I will cut myself,” She said and my steps came to a halt. I can’t take risks by getting her to hurt herself.

“Don’t do anything foolish, Riti.”I heard Vikram saying as he also came forward.

“Don’t come near me. I don’t want to be a toy AGAIN. Don’t come near me!” She said as she moved back with the shred of vase kept in her wrist. She is not identifying anyone of us. But how did this. . happen?

“Princess, look. . . here no one wants to use you, okay? I’m your brother.” Vikram said in a tender voice as he approached Riti.

“NO! Please go away!” She cried harder and my heart swelled seeing her like this not able to help her not even able to hold her close to me.

“Lily. Calm down. It is us. Look, we all are here,” Ishaan comes forward as Arjun, Ruhi and Isha also come forward.

“Cutie. Relax.” Isha said as her eyes are filled with tears.

“Please you all stay away from me. Please. Don’t come near me! Don’t touch me! Please!!” She yelled more as tears streamed down her cheeks.

“Don’t come near me! Otherwise,” She was about to cut her wrist before that Ishaan caught her hands and threw the shred of broken vase on the floor.

“Leave me! Leave me!” Riti wiggled in Ishaan’s hold as Vikram also held her.

“Calm down, Little One,” Vikram says as he holds her.

“Please, leave me. Please. Please. I—” Before she can even complete it, she faints and falls to her brother’s chest. I didn’t even wait for a second to move towards her.

“Let’s take her to hospital,” Ishaan said.

“I will carry her,” I said to Vikram, my voice thick with emotions. He nodded his head and I took Riti in my arms and her body was lifeless in my arms.

“I will take the car,” Ishaan said as he went out of the room.

“Isha and Ruhi, you both stay here, okay?” Vikram said to Isha and Ruhi.

“Vikram, let me come with you. Please.” Isha said as tears made their way down to her cheek.

“Isha, stay here. I can’t take you there in this condition and you also look tired so stay here, hm.” He said as he wiped her tears.
