Chapter 18

Geneviève POV 🧡

      As my eyes felt heavier and soon falling to sleep on Elijah's chest, I soon went to a familiar dream state.

    Laying in a field of flowers, looking up at the beautiful sky, I sat up wiping the tears that still feel from my eyes.

   "There's no need cry,darling." A familiar voice said

    As I turned my head, I saw Kol.

   "I'm here, again. How? You're...?" I said not understanding

   "I sensed you needed me. And since I've been sleeping for 60 or more years I think I've figured out how to connect to you in your dreams, Darling." He says with the most heart melting accent.

   "So you know what's happening even though you're sleeping...?" I asked

  "Well not all of it. I only know what's happening based off you're feelings and my brothers sure has you riled up about something." He explains sitting next to me taking my hand.

   "Klaus told me about the daggers today and Elena and her friends dagger Elijah while I was away, now I'm sitting with him waiting for him to wake up." I tried to explain

    "Then I'll wait with you." He says.
After awhile we got comfortable, laying together in the grass, looking up at the sky.

     "Do you know where Klaus, put you?" I suddenly ask curious if he knew where I could possibly find him.

     " If Klaus is in town, I'm not far. He doesn't leave us." He says running his fingers through my hair.

     "So there's a chance I could find you." I asked

      "Darling, don't go looking for trouble, I think Elijah is already on it anyways." He says

     "He thinks you're all at the bottom of a sea, Kol." I tell him looking up to see his reaction.

     "Then you must tell him the lies Niklaus has told him are wrong. He'll know what to do and anyways wouldn't want to hurt your bond with Nik anymore then it has." He explains

    "But he shouldn't have did this to you, even if this is way of protecting you or keeping his family close to him for some twisted reason." I said totally not understanding his reasoning

    "Talk to him about it, calmly this time. And don't worry once we're awake we'll get back at him. We always do." He says before he sighs

    "What? What's wrong?" I asked seeing him look sad.

    "Elijah's waking up, it's time for you to go." He says

   "Not yet, I don't want to leave you here alone." I said

   "Wake up Geneviève." He says

    "Wake up." I hear a voice say before I opened my eyes.

    "Elijah, you're awake." I say giving him a hug. He held me close as if I was going to disappear.

   "Let's get going, I know we were supposed to be at the dance tonight." He says before helping me stand up.

  "It's probably over, I don't even know what time it is." I said trying to think

"Come on, I'll call Damon and we'll get changed and be on our way." He says

On the way there after getting dressed I just felt like something bad was going to happen. I know it's getting closer to the full moon so they're running out of time with coming up with solutions to save Elena.
