We burst our way through each and every door as Valerie cleared the way for us. The unison of our shoes pounding against the floor echoed throughout the hallway as we approached the elevator.

I pressed the button several times, rushing the slow moving machine. As soon as the doors parted, i dove my way inside. Valerie pressed the button for one of the forbidden floors and all the lights on the keypad instantly flashed red. With a quick scan of her badge the lights went back to their soft white glow.

I remove my backpack from my shoulders placing it on the elevator floor. I retrieve all three coins from the little front pocket and stand to face my friends once more.

"In case anything happens, i don't think i should carry all three." I look around to the group who nods. "I think the twins should carry the other two."

I extend both of my arms toward a twin, placing a coin in each of their hands. I look to each twin with nothing but love in my heart. I'm glad this hellish experience brought me the most peace i have ever known.

The elevator dings and the mechanical doors whir open behind me. I turn around to find a dark and deserted hallway. The stillness sends an unwavering chill all the way down my spine.

"Follow me." Valerie pushes past me out of the elevator. I follow her with out hesitation.

"Val, slow down!" I yell as she begins to sprint away from me, her long legs taking her farther than my little ones can.

"Were almost there!" She screams. I quicken my pace, looking down at the floor at my feet. I beg my legs to keep going, hoping that they don't give out underneath me.

I look up just in time to see Valerie stopped right in front of me. My shoes screech against the floor as i stop with all my might. Valerie looks through the windows of a massive room, computers and monitors beeping all over.

She slowly reaches her hand up, scanning her keycard against the padlock on the door. The steel door whooshes open as i am hit with a frigid rush of air. The smell of the well oiled machines over takes my nostrils. I warily step my way into the circular shaped room.

One one half of the circle, computers line the walls encasing them all the way up to the ceiling. The other side is adorned by pristinely clear glass windows that look out to the testing area of the lab. The constant beep and mechanical whirs echo loudly throughout the large room.

At the very center of the room, there is a lowered platform with a small table placed directly in the center. Upon the table sits a clear glass box. My heart leaps to my throat as i know this is what i have been searching for so desperately.

My feet slam against the floor as i take off sprinting to the center of the room. My eyes stay glued to the box as if it is my most prized possession.

I place my hands over the clear glass box, looking down at the three circular slots faceted in the bottom. A snug little place for each coin.

I feel each of the twins take their rightful place next to me, ready to place their coins. I look up to Tom who gives me a small nod of encouragement before looking to Bill. I then glance towards Bill who's gaze then falls to me. Bill gives me a soft reassuring smile before nodding his head for me to continue.

Take a deep breath in through my nose and exhale slowly out of my mouth as i begin to feel my heart beat funnily in my chest.

The moment that i had been desperately searching for so long, is finally here.

I slowly raise the glass cover from the box. The lights of the room immediately dim and turn a dark red color. My eyes peer quickly around the room as an alarm starts to blare, alerting the entire lab of our presence.

"NOW!" I scream over the wail of the alarm.

I press the coin from James Parker between my fingertips, longing for more knowledge of my mother. I push my thumb forward placing the coin in the depression of the slot.

I then hear three faint metallic clicks from inside the box. The plate itself then begins to lower down inside the table, securing the placement of the coins inside of it.

At that moment all the beeping and whirring of monitors in the room completely stops as every machine in the room begins to shut down. I look around to all the blank and empty computer screens of the lab.

It's over. It's all over.

The lights return to the soft glow of white that they once were as i look towards my friends with joy painted across my face.

"WE FUCKING DID IT!!" I scream as loud as my lungs will let me. I open my arms embracing both of the twins tall statures.

I jump up and down feeling the embrace of all my friends as they rush towards me. If it wasn't for them, i would have never accomplished this. I owe all that i am to them.

I pull back from the hugs, catching myself smiling as i wonder if James would be proud of me.

"WHAT ARE YOU FUCKING DOING!?" Screams someone from the doorway as two violent shots ring out into the room.

With the slightest movement of his hand, Georg raises his weapon. The barrel of his gun is illuminated by a flash as a bullet is sent straight into the forehead of Alexander Moore. His legs fall from underneath him and his body instantly crumbles to the floor.

"TOM!?... TOM!?" Bill screams out as throws himself into the tile floor. My eyes follow him to find Tom sprawled out next to him.

"No." I take a step forward but am met with a world of pain. "June." Sloane's worried eyes trace over my light gray shirt soaked with blood.

I look down at the growing stain of blood on my shirt. "Fuck." I murmur before feeling my lower body become numb. Unable to break my own fall, i crash down directly on to my side.

I scream out in agony clutching building pain in the middle of my stomach. This hurt so much more than i remembered.

I watch as Tom's shaky breath heaves his chest up and down. Bill's tear stained face screams into Tom's chest as he cries out for him.

"OH MY GOD, JUNE. NO NO NO." Bill screams as he realizes i too have been shot.

"Tom." I reach my blood stained hand out towards him, my fingertips shaking with panic.

"June?" He mutters. He coughs spitting blood straight up into the air, the tiny particles falling down to the white tile floor. His breathing becomes more jagged as i watch him struggle to hold on.

"It's okay Tom. It's okay" Bill strokes his brother's long dreadlocks. "You're okay, June is okay." Bill chokes back the tears, staying strong for his brother.

I can feel the presence of death looming over the room, waiting to take us both. Suddenly, i remember the deal i made with him, i could make it out of this. I would be okay.

I wipe the edges of my mouth, tasting the iron rich blood beginning to crawl its way up my throat. I would surely die soon if i didn't say the words.

I look over to Tom, who now faced me. With tears in my eyes, i placed my hand in his. "Yes, I will marry you." I mutter softly. The corner of his mouth perks up in a smile.

I closed my eyes and turned my head towards the heavens. I suddenly felt the warm cloud like embrace of someone hugging me. In that moment, i knew it was my mother telling me everything would be okay.

Memories of my life began to flash through my mind. I could hear Bill's heart stopping giggle, i could feel the warmth of Tom's big hugs. I could feel the sensation of how passionately Bill kissed me. I could feel the love i have for Tom blossom into something spectacular.

It was then that i made the easiest decision of my entire life.

"Death is a gift you haven't yet earned, Tom Kaulitz." I murmur softly, just loud enough for death to hear.

I made my peace with death long ago. I was ready to go in the place of someone i truly loved.

And then, everything went black.
