THE ONLY WAY to make Seth's coffee tastes less bitter is to add at least three sugars, which is definitely way too much, but Ayesha doesn't have a choice, she can't last a day without coffee.

"We've been patrolling for days now and we haven't find a single suspicious person, I am gonna start believing this weird Wolf guy is bullshit." Jesse rolls his eyes with a sigh.

Everyone was theres-Jesse, Dina and Ellie. Which was odd because Dina and Jesse had split up, but it's a small town, they can't avoid each other. And Ellie and Dina were friends, so it made sense for them to have breakfast together.

Now Ayesha and Dina could stand each other, they still didn't like each other, but at least they could be in the same room without wanting to leave. Dina had noticed that Ayesha and Ellie had grown closer and become friends, which made her realize that she should stop being so bitter and start being more forgiving.

"This is not bullshit, I think there's really a spy. And we all know who it is." Ellie says side eyeing the table where Jon and his friends were sitting.

Ayesha turns discreetly towards Jon's table before meeting his dark gaze. It's a small town and word travels fast around here, so everyone eventually heard that Ayesha had accused Jon, until it reached his ears, and since then he seems to hate Ayesha for accusing him of such a thing. Everybody seems to hate Ayesha now.

Jesse agreed with Ayesha, he just didn't dare say it in front of Maria and Tommy, and as for Dina, she believed it too but didn't dare say it to anyone, rather die than assume she agreed with her nemesis. Ellie is the only one to openly say she believed Ayesha, whether people liked it or not.

"I don't wanna patrol." Dina sighs before slipping her hand on her neck.

Everyone was tired, and today Jesse, Ellie and Dina were patrolling while Ayesha had to go to the walls to stand guard. Now that her wound had more or less healed, Maria had given her permission to work.

"Me too." Jesse says before taking another sip of orange juice.

Suddenly, Ayesha saw Temika run up to the table before placing her fingers on it, only her eyes protruding from the table.

"Are you gonna finish this cupcake?" She asks Ellie.

The young woman turns to the little girl with a smile and slides the cupcake with a flick of her hand in Temika's direction.

"You can have it."

"Thanks." Temika says joyfully before taking the cupcake and leaving.

The three friends started talking again, Ayesha remaining silent, feeling the heavy gaze of Jon and his friends on her. She just wanted to go home and never leave again, so she wouldn't have to face other people's gazes. She felt so ashamed, her stomach churning every time she took a step off her porch.

She now loved these people and they were all going to hate her in a few days.

Suddenly, Ayesha felt Ellie's hand slide up her lower back, Ayesha's eyebrows raised as she tried not to let anything show. But it was difficult. Ellie's hand passed under Ayesha's top, gently caressing her skin as she continued to talk to her friends, who hadn't noticed anything yet.
