AFTER SEVERAL HOURS' thought, Ayesha had finally decided to go to this birthday party Jon was throwing. She slipped on a white tank top with green cargo pants and black sneakers. Then, in an attempt to look less casual, she added hoop earrings and a silver necklace.

Then Ayesha left her house and went to Jon's, trying not to be noticed. Parties like this always tried to go behind the backs of the older ones, who weren't always in favor of drinking parties with such consequences. But they weren't fools; they knew what was going on behind their backs, but without any proof, they couldn't say anything.

Ayesha quickly arrives at Jon's house, arriving at the front door before seeing a sign telling her to go through the back door to avoid attracting too much attention. And Ayesha circles the house before entering through the back door, and is almost immediately immersed in a euphoric atmosphere.

The smell of alcohol was at its peak, and there was music playing, a vinyl of the best hip hop tracks of the 90s spinning on a record player. Ayesha smiled before realizing that there were quite a few people there, about fifty at least. Some talking, some kissing, some dancing.

"Ayesha! You made it." The woman hears a familiar voice.

She turns to see Jesse leaning against the kitchen counter with his friends Dina and Ellie. Ayesha tries to force a smile even though Dina is with them.

"Yeah, how's it going?" She walks to them.

Jesse hands Ayesha a glass of whisky, which she refuses, not wanting to have to go home alone and drunk too.

"Nah, I'm good."

"Really? Great, because this whisky tastes weird."

"That's because they mixed it with ginger juice." Ellie says taking a sip of the whisky.

Ayesha grimaces, wondering how Ellie can keep on drinking this horror. She tries not to imagine what this whisky tastes like, while Jesse lets a look of disgust show on his face and turns to his girlfriend.

"You want it?"

"I am not drinking that," Dina says disgusted before taking the glass as she puts it on the counter, "but we can go grab something else."

Dina then takes Jesse's hand in hers before leading him with her to the corner of the room. Ayesha watches them go before turning to Ellie, smiling at her. She moves towards the brunette then leans against the counter, the lesbian then turning fully towards her.

"Hey." Ayesha smirks.

"I didn't expect you here." Ellie says with a grin.

"I am full of surprises, Williams." The dark-haired woman clearly teases.

Ellie raised her eyebrows in surprise. She didn't know how to interpret this. The sentence was normal, but the tone was unusual. Her eyes squint as she gets closer, as if she were creating this sphere of intimacy.

"Yeah?" The brunette whispers.

Ayesha simply looks up at Ellie with a smile on the corner of her lip, but their conversation is quickly interrupted when Jon's voice is heard behind Ayesha.
