"HOW ARE YOU so bad at this, huh?" Ellie asks the young girl after she's lost the fifth Tekken fight.

Ayesha doesn't reply and simply rolls her eyes as Ellie looks at her with a teasing smile, watching her readjust herself at the edge of the bed.

"You're obviously cheating." Ayesha shrugs.

"How- How do you want me to cheat?" Ellie scoffs with a chuckle.

"I dunno, you have some skills that I don't. It's not fair." She lets the controller on the bed before laying down.

Ellie squints, a teasing look on her face as she also lies down on the bed, right next to Ayesha, keeping her eyes plunged into hers.

"And you call this cheating?" She chuckles, resting her elbow on the bed as she nests her face in the palm of her hand.

"Yep." Ayesha rolls her eyes sassily before rolling on the bed, ending up with her stomach on the white sheets.

"Maybe if you didn't pick Anna Williams as your fighter, you would've won." Ellie mumbles teasingly.

Ayesha replies simply, looking at Ellie from the corner of her eye.

"I don't know what you're talking about, Anna is so bad."

This made Ellie think if Ayesha might like girls.

"Plus, if you didn't pick your big stinky bear, maybe I would've won."

Ellie laughed, admiring Ayesha. The young woman had tied her hair in a braid, letting a rebellious lock wander in front of her face. She had put on a white T-shirt with overalls and black boots. She always thought that even if Ayesha wore a garbage bag, she'd still look good.

"You should try picking Anna someday and realize that she's a good fighter and that you were just cheating all along. Plus you guys are alike." Ayesha says cluelessly.

The young woman tried to avoid Ellie's gaze, fidgeting with her fingers, thinking the lesbian had understood the message she was trying to convey. However, Ellie seemed rather confused. She chuckles.

"Why? Because we both share the same last name?"

Ayesha frowns with a smirk before nudging Ellie.

"No silly. I mean, yes, but also because you're both like really pretty."

Ellie is speechless. As for Ayesha, she tries hard to avoid Ellie's gaze. It's the first time they've shared something so intimate. Sincere. Because Ayesha really meant it, Anna's really pretty, it's no secret but Ellie. Ellie really is unrealistically beautiful.

"Oh woah, thank you I guess, you're..." Ellie pauses, flushing and trying to find the words, and the only thing she can do is compliment her back, "you're really pretty too."

"Yeah I've noticed you staring at me this morning." Ayesha smiles before turning her face to Ellie's, finally meeting her gaze.

The young woman doesn't know what to say, realizing that she's been caught red-handed. Ellie is nervous, and she doesn't know why, but for a brief moment her eyes drift to Ayesha's red lips, and it's as if they're calling to her. She licks her lips before looking up at the dark-haired woman.
