AFTER INSERTING THE disc into the dvd player, Ellie returned to her bed, sitting between Dina and Ayesha. No one thought they'd see grown-ups watching a Disney cartoon, but here they all are, sitting in front of the TV in Ellie's house, because she's the only one with a DVD player.

"God, I can't believe you guys dragged me here to watch a naive little girl living with dwarves." Dina grumbles.

Ayesha rolled her eyes, trying to restrain herself from responding to Dina in the most unpleasant way. But she didn't want to spoil the evening and simply kept quiet.

"I think it's one of Disney's most popular animation for a reason." Ellie shrugs as the movie finally starts.

Ayesha suddenly felt Ellie turn towards the young woman before whispering a few words in the hollow of her ear.

"Can you pass me the popcorn?"

"Mhm, sure." Ayesha mumbles before giving the popcorn to Ellie.

It was salty popcorn, definitely not the best, but it was all that was left. And then, they don't really have a choice of flavors anymore with popcorn or any food for that matter.

"Why's the prince wearing mascara and lipstick?" Jesse asks with a chuckle.

Everyone starts laughing because Jesse was right, Disney did make him a bit effeminate, but nothing too bad.

Ayesha and Ellie suddenly hear movement coming from right next to them, the two young women look at the couple out of the corner of their eyes before seeing Jesse put his arm around Dina's shoulders, pulling her closer to him, Dina doesn't flinch and lets it happen.

Ellie and Ayesha look at each other discreetly, a smile on their lips as they realize that their plan is working.

The film soon reaches its first half.

"God, I'd die to live in a cottage like this one." Ayesha says, looking at the drawings of the dwarves' house.

"Same." Everybody answers in choir.

A light laugh escapes Ayesha's lips as she looks at the other three out of the corner of her eye.

Ellie curled up, bringing her legs closer to her torso as she placed her hands on her thighs, lightly brushing Ayesha's hand with her own.

The young woman raised her eyebrows discreetly before resting her eyes on her hand, which was close to Ellie's, her heart starting to race, without her even knowing why.

Ellie felt it too, her hand brushing against Ayesha's unintentionally. She tried to pretend nothing had happened before suddenly feeling Ayesha's skin against hers again. Ayesha didn't know what she was doing. All she knew was that she wanted to touch Ellie again, like a vital need. As vital as water or oxygen.

Ellie wishes she could push Ayesha away, but she can't. She can't do anything. She can't do anything because that's what she wants too, to feel Ayesha.

They had to remain friends. Ayesha didn't want Ellie to be some kind of experiment, and yet all she wanted was to be near her. She wanted to touch her hand to make sure there was that spark going on between them and that it would never be blown off. Ayesha's pinky finger finally wraps around Ellie's.
