ᖭི༏ᖫྀ"WHY DID SHE spare our lives? Sometimes, I don't understand this girl's choices." Dina said.
Ellie wondered the exact same thing, they were walking in an empty neighborhood and the thought of Ayesha wouldn't leave her mind. And she knew she said she would kill her before, she would want to see her dead, but now that they met again, Ellie started thinking different.
"I don't know... Probably to redeem herself?" Ellie shrugged.
"Well she's crazy if she thinks we'll forgive her after what she did." Dina said.
I'd forgive her if she told me where Abby's hiding, that's a good way to redeem herself, Ellie thought, but kept it to herself knowing Dina's reaction would upset her.
"We should've listened to you, since the start. Ayesha was suspicious, yes." Ellie admitted.
"Right, I never even realized she was kind of jacked. What a liar." Dina chuckled.
Ellie agreed, though she swore she saw abs before when they used to hook up.
Dina knew something had happened between them back at Jackson, but never dared to ask Ellie, it would only upset her. But she knew for sure.
...
THE NEXT DAY, Ayesha packed a bag with food, medicines, and bandages and left her room, decided to find where Ellie and Dina were hiding in Seattle. She couldn't stop thinking about Ellie, her face and voice wouldn't leave her mind.
She was haunting her again, and Ayesha couldn't stay here knowing Ellie was out there, probably struggling to survive with Dina, she had to help them though she knew Dina and Ellie now despised her. She didn't expect anything in return from them, not pity or forgiveness. Ayesha was only doing this for her own peace of mind.
Ayesha hoped in her Mitsubishi Eclipse and left the stadium at dawn, she stopped at the gates and spoke to the soldier guarding.
"You leaving so early?" The soldier asked.
"Yeah, an emergency downtown, trespassers... You know." Ayesha lied.
The soldier analyzed Ayesha's car, it was her personal car and wasn't supposed to use it for operations. But the soldier didn't question it, he knew Ayesha was Isaac's most trust-worthy soldier.
"Okay, just get back before tonight, don't forget about the Seraphites operation." He said to her.
"I will." Ayesha said, knowing Isaac really wanted her to be there for this important operation.
Ayesha started the engine again and as she was about to leave, the soldier stopped her again.
"I am sorry about Mike and Jordan by the way... I know they were your friends." He said.
"Thanks man," Ayesha smiled, "may your survival be long."
"May your death be swift." He replied back.
Ayesha nodded with a smile before passing through the gates and leaving, driving in the streets.
After about an hour driving, Ayesha stopped near the radio tower where trespassers have been seen for the last time yesterday. Ellie and Dina had to be somewhere around here.
