The Decembers

Chapter 33

    It is the day after the party, and everything is a mess. All the Sun twins had to clean up all the mess they had made from all the fighting they did with their siblings. Paisley and I decided to join in and help them. For once we were not the ones who were in trouble. Instead, Pierce was upset with all of them. After cleaning, he wanted to have a long talk with all of us. He said it had nothing to do with us but that we should be there for them to apologize to us for ruining our celebration.

    To be honest, the night was already getting a little messy even before the moon twins show up, but it was getting a little better than they had to showed up and ruin everything. I felt bad for the people of the kingdom. They wanted to have a great time. Instead, they end up getting scared. Luckily, none of them got hurt with all the chaos being thrown around. I don't think no one expected any of the twins to fight.

    All of us were almost done cleaning. Pierce then shows up on his horse and gets off. He looks upset and angry at the same time. He is probably hurt because a lot of words were exchange from all the siblings that should not have been said especially from his two sons. Mason really did not like seeing his father or brother last night.

    Everyone stops what they were doing and all face Pierce. Knowing that he was going to speak to all of us. "I need everyone to listen up. I have something to say to all of you."

    We all stay quiet and just let Pierce do all the talking. "I am very disappointed with each one of you from your actions last night. I do not care if the moon twins started it either. You all should have known not to get into a fight with them. They wanted you all to give in and here I thought you all were too strong too, but clearly, I was wrong."

    Pierce takes a deep breath. He looks down on the floor as if what he was about to say next was going to be hard for him to speak. He then looks back up at all of us and continue to talk. I felt like a punishment was coming on.

    "I've thought long and hard for your punishment. You all will be attending longer school sections with Ms. Willow and less training lessons with Ace. You will also have more homework and no sweets for breakfast, lunch, or dinner for two weeks straight. With that said, you may all attended to Ace now. He is waiting for all of you, but before you leave, I expect every one of you to apologize to the Decembers."

    Everyone was upset with their punishment and even moan when they heard about having more homework but knew it was coming. As each one of them left us alone they each apologize to my sister and me. We accepted their apology and let them know that it was okay. The last person to say sorry was Cyrus. You can tell he felt worse than the others because he knew we never had a birthday party before. Honestly, Paisley and I do not even care about having a party ever again.

    With everyone now gone. Pierce came up to us. "Now as for you two. It's time to get you two attend school with the others as well, but first I will have to get you both arrange with your personal armor and temporary swords as your own."

    Paisley and I look at each other. We were both happy to know that we will finally be able to join the others and get to meet this Ace. Watching everyone fight last night made me realize that my sister and I are way different from all the twins here. We are way behind all of them when it comes to our fighting skills. Either way I am looking forward to catching up with them.

    "Follow me you two. I'll take you both to get what you need and then from there, you will start your first day of school."

    We arrive at Pierce house. In his place he has a room filled with armor and weapons. Who would have thought he had a room filled with those things? I mean It does make sense since he is the ruler of Bright Kingdom. We enter the room full of armor. They do not look nothing like the sun twins' armor except for the younger twins. We won't get that type of special armor until our 17 birthday.
