-Paisley-
Two days have passed by, and it is the day of my brother and my celebration. Lela was taking us back to Sookie shop to pick up our outfits. West and I were excited to see them. In fact, we were excited to see everything today. We never been a part of any of Bright Kingdom celebrations. Knowing that we were the host was even more nerve wreaking.
We all step into the shop and saw Sookie right away. She was already in her outfit for tonight. Her outfit look like it was a part of the stars. It was beautiful the way she made it look. It had sparkles everywhere from her head to her toes. She was also wearing high heels, which made her look even taller than what she already was.
You can tell Lela felt uncomfortable in her outfit, I think it is because she made it herself. I loved what Lela was wearing though. She tried representing her outfit with the clouds in the sky. By the way Sookie was looking at her, you can tell she was not empress. I give Lela props for showing her talent. I told her that I loved what she did and how she chose to represent the clouds. She thanks me with a huge giant smile. Her dress was light blue with the bottom having puffy cottons stich to it. I really did loved it.
Sookie claps her hands for her team to bring out the outfits. They were both covered in a bag that was zip. "First, I will unzip West bag." She unzips West bag, and I can see a golden yellow color. The bag fell to the ground and Sookie is holding the outfit by the hangar.
It was so beautiful. His outfit represented the sun. It was truly amazing and beautiful. It had diamonds along the neckline. The outfit had the sun fire flames down the sleeves and pants. The whole outfit did a perfect job looking like the sun. I was now excited to see mine. My outfit probably represents the sun as well. I just wanted to see it already.
"What do think of the outfit West?"
"I love it."
Sookie was happy that West loved it. Everyone was please that he did. Now it was my turn to see mine. "Alright, Now for Paisley celebration gown." After Sookie said that she unzips the bag, and I couldn't believe it.
How dare she. Sookie made my outfit represent the moon. I refused to wear it to the celebration tonight. It was a black dress with stars and sparkles all over it. The crown was the moon shape itself. The dress is supposed to be space surrounding the moon. I mean it was creative, but this is not me. Especially with what had just happened not too long ago with what I almost did. I was sure after seeing West outfit she was going to have mine represent the sun as well. What made her think of me as the moon? Do I scream out darkness?
"So, what do you think of yours Paisley?"
"I am not wearing that dress tonight. If I did, I would look like I'm a moon twin."
I ran out of there as quickly as I can. Tears were coming down my cheeks. Now I have nothing to wear tonight for the celebration. I should not even go tonight. I ran back to my tent since it was not that far from the shop and lay on my bed soon as I got there with my face coved in my pillow. All the running made me tired and soon as you know it, I pass out.
"Wake up my dear."
I open my eyes and saw Lela sitting on the edge of my bed. West was sitting on his bed across from mine. He was in his outfit. Looking at him made me jealous of him. I know I shouldn't be, it's not his fault that Sookie saw me more as the moon.
"I understand why you are upset, and I understand if you don't want to wear that outfit tonight. Your brother and I still want you to attend. After all tonight is about you and your brother."
