The Decembers

Chapter 29

                                                                                       -WEST-

     Everyone in Bright Kingdom was shocked to see both the sun and moon twins together at the same time. Even I was shocked as well. The real question here though is why they are here. None of them were even invited to our celebration. I don't like looking at Nora evil face and here I thought my night was going to be great.

    Pierce walk in front of us to confront Nora. "How did you get in."

    "Please it was easy. After all you can trick anyone if your twin." She lets out a laugh and continues to talk. "Your guards thought the moon twins were the sun twins."

    Once Nora said that I knew Pierce was going to have a very long talk with the guards. "I'm afraid your breaking rules here Nora."

    "Your wrong Pierce. Don't act like you're not the only one who throws celebration for a twin. Night Kingdom does as well, and you have two twins therefore Night Kingdom is not having a celebration right now. Why should we miss out on a good time just because both twins chose you?"

    Out of nowhere Pierce son steps up and stands next to Nora. Both Pierce and Greyson have smiles. You can tell they were both happy to see him. Pierce even call out his son Mason name and went in trying to give him a hug but sadly Mason did not want a hug from him and takes a step back. He looks at his father then his brother and started to speak. "Nora is right. We just came here to have great time. There's nothing wrong with that."

    Pierce looks at Mason when he said that. You can tell deep down that his heart was breaking seeing his son for the first time since he spoken to his son since his twin's ritual perhaps. Yet none of the siblings seem to care to see one another. They all may look the same, but they look at each other like strangers. This party was starting to feel not so much a party anymore.

   Pierce looks back at Nora. "It's not up to me to decide if I want you to stay. It's the host decision to decide that."

    Right after Pierce said that everyone started looking at me and my sister. He wants us to decide. I mean if I had to choose, I would let the moon twins stay but have Nora leave. I don't want her here or near us. She doesn't deserve to have fun at Paisley and my celebration. Especially, how tonight is all about our parents. I step forward so I can tell them to leave right away but before I could even let out a single word, Paisley pulls me back.

    "I don't think we should ask them to leave."

    "What! Are you crazy Paisley? Are you seriously asking me to let them stay? Especially that evil witch Nora. I mean do you hear yourself right now."

    "Yes, I hear myself right now but just hear me out. They have Storm and this is our chance to try to get some information about him. I mean we do not even know if he is okay or not. Plus, if he is alright, let's say we do turn them down. You don't think Nora will get upset and angry. What do you think she will do as soon as she gets back to Night Kingdom with her anger?" I knew Paisley was right.

    "She'll make Storm pay for our actions."

    "Exactly. Where doing this for Storm."

    "For Storm then."

    I turned around to face Nora and the others. Everyone is waiting for our answer. I swallow my pride and spoke loudly so everyone can hear me. "My sister and I welcome you all to stay and have a good time." With that said, my sister and I walk away, and the music started playing again when Pierce told everyone to go back to enjoying themselves.

    Someone taps on my shoulder, and I turn around to see who it was. It was Cyrus. "I want to thank the both of you. I know it must have been hard for you asking Nora to stay but I know why you did. You both did it for Storm. This could be our chance to try to find something out about him."
