The Decembers

Chapter 50

    West wanted to take me somewhere. I had asked him where he was taking me to, but he just told me it was a surprise. When we arrive, there were two guards guarding the place. The building seemed very old and haunted. I was curious to know what was inside. West told the guards who we were and just like that they let us pass through.

    As we enter, West switch a light on. That just alone surprise me because Bright Kingdom does not have electricity. My brother knew I was shocked about there being light. He then explains everything to me that he had learn about our parents while I was gone on my mission. I was jealous of him that he found out about this information first before me, but a good kind of jealous.

    He then showed me a chest that he had open that belong to our father. My father was a huge fan of reading books. After looking through my father chest, West ask me if I was ready to open our mother chest. I look over to hers but something in me was not ready to open hers yet. I was already happy with all the things that West had just told me. I feel like I really knew who my parents were.

    West did not understand why I wanted to wait to open my mother chest, but he didn't question me about it. Out of everything my brother told me, I think the most shocking thing was about Ace being the one who took us to earth and, in a way, brought us back to Rave. I was also taken back about what West told me about Nora being close to our mother. She ended up turning out to be the worse friend ever. If any of my friends turn on me, I would be heart broken.

    West and I sat down at a table. Thank goodness his leg is a lot better. He doesn't even need the crutches anymore to walk. Now there was something that him and I wanted to talk about and that was the soon to be upcoming war ahead of us. West and I promise each other that we would always stand by each other sides. That nothing will ever get between us, and we will always be loyal to each other. If Nora thinks she won already, she has something else coming to her because the Decembers never back down from a fight.
