Chapter 12

    There was about 20 more minutes until the competitors were going to compete. Cyrus and West were talking to them while, Storm and I had been having our own conversation. I wanted to talk to him about Iris. I wanted to know if the rumors were true about them two. I won't lie, Iris and Storm would make a good-looking couple. Storm had that pretty boy look. His hair was slick back. He was about 6-foot-tall and had beautiful light blue eyes with a little bit of tone of green in them. His hair color was light golden brown. Storm always made these cute smirks that he would make as well. Him and Cyrus could easily get any girl they wanted, but you can tell they were both very serious about their job and Bright Kingdom.

    "Storm, what's the truth between you and Iris. You don't have to tell me anything if you don't want to?" Storm takes a deep breath before telling me anything. You can tell he was shy to tell me anything about her.

    "She was my first love, what I'm about to tell you stays between you and me."

    "I promise I won't say a word to no one."

    "The real reason why I wanted to become a protector was because of her. I thought that she was going to end up being the sun twin and Cyrus was going to be the moon twin. When I was at their ritual and saw that the moon chose her, I knew at that point I was going to lose her to darkness, but I don't regret being a protector. Cyrus is my best friend and I'm happy I can be there for him."

    I felt bad for Storm. This whole time Cyrus thought Storm became a protector to protect either his sister or him, but it the end he did it all for her. I can tell by the way he talks about Iris, that he was still deeply in love with her. So, the rumors are true, they were once each other's everything. Now Iris probably sees him as someone who betrayed her. Someone that is not worth her time.

    Pierce shows up and tells us that the first round will now began. I am guessing him; Cyrus and Storm were going to help us judge each round. It was good to have help especially with something that my brother and I are not familiar with. All I know was this whole thing was going to be interesting to watch. Let round one began.
