-Paisley-
I cannot believe what just had happen. I could not even pay attention for the rest of the lesson. All I could think about is my brother and how badly I injured him. I didn't mean to. It is just that he would not stop even when I was yelling at him to.
After class was over. I ask Joey if she can show me where the relievers where located. I needed to see my brother and see if he is alright. That cut is still pictured in my head. Not even the rats in the forest received a cut like that from me. I was just thankful that I was using a wooden sword than a real one. I do not even want to think about what would have happen if I had a real one.
Joey took me to the relievers. They were located almost near Pierce home. The relievers were inside a huge tent. The tent itself reminds me of a circus one. I entered the tent and saw many single beds next to each other. There were two rows of beds. All the relievers were wearing the same outfit. Each one of them was wearing a long golden dress but on their right arm they had a long sleeve while the other arm was a short sleeve. It was a unique outfit. They all even were wearing their hair the same way. All their hair was braided all the way down to their waste. None of them had short hair.
There on the left side of the tent the fifth bed down the row, I saw West laying down with his leg wrapped with wet towels. Looking at him like this makes me upset. This is all my fault. He would not have been here if it were not for me. I went too hard on him, and I should not have. I knew he was showing off, but still everything was happing so fast in that moment.
Joey left me so I could talk to West alone. Cyrus and Greyson were by his side giving him some company. They nod at me and left as well so we can have time to talk about what had just happen. Soon as they left, West and I both said sorry to each other at the same time. We laugh of course after we said that knowing that we both felt bad. I wanted to tell him what happen, but he spoke first.
"I'm the one who should be sorry, not you Paisley. I was hitting harder than I should not have. I just really wanted to impress everyone and once everyone was watching us, my nerves got to me big time. I block all the noise out and didn't even pay much attention to what you were saying to me and that's where I mess up. I should have listened to you and for that I'm sorry."
I didn't know if I should end up telling him what I was saying during our fight. I didn't want to make him feel more guilty than he was. If he knew that I was yelling at him to stop, he would be devastated. Then again, we told each other that we would stop lying to one another. I was starting to think that maybe it would be good for a little bit of time if him and I were not lesson partners.
"West, I think we should have a rule."
"What's up Paisley."
"I think it would be best if we don't end up being lesson partners for a while. At least till we have more practicing skills that we can handle. It is just, you were right about one thing. There has always been competition between us. Even when we try to not make it happen, it always finds a way to us. I think that's natural for some sibling rivalry, but we don't need that, especially now."
"Your right Paisley. More than anything, all the twins are looking at us. I think secretly their waiting for us to crack."
"Why would you say that about them."
"I'm not talking about the sun twins; I'm talking about the moon twins and Nora. I bet you word will spread about our little fight and somehow, they will all hear about it and laugh. I just don't want them to think we are weak. In the end they're the weak ones for turning their backs on their siblings and picking Nora over their own blood."
