Scar watched Iris explain to both the reader, and also herself, the true story of the Aspheera, and the rings of realms and forbidden scroll of spinjitzu.
*Scar POV*
Wait so Iris was friends with young Wu and Garmadon? That's so cool. I need to ask her more about th-
"Lloyd, Scar, Nya, Zane!" I heard someone yell, waking me up.
"Huh, what's going on?" I mumbled.
"Have a nice nap?" Lloyd asked. I was still leaning on his chest. I forgot about that.
"Uh-yeah-t-thanks Lloyd" I thanked, moving off him, and holding onto the bar of the ShuriCopter myself.
"We're here, but we have bad news. We have lost Aspheera." Zane informed someone.
"That's okay, we found her. She's attacking the temple!" I heard Cole exclaim. Oh yeah, Cole is calling Zane RN. I forgot about that.
"What?" Lloyd questioned.
"Huh?!" I added.
"Yeah, that's not all. We found out who the Deceiver is. And, um, well, uh" Cole began.
"It's Wu, right? I think while I was asleep, Iris explained to me what happened" I informed. Nya and Zane gasped.
"What?" Lloyd questioned.
"Scar's not wrong. Maybe she can explain it too you guys later, but it's a long story. The good news is though, is that we have a plan. We know how to defeat Aspheera. There's another scroll out there somewhere, and we think Clutch knows where it is." Cole told us.
"Great, so where's Clutch?" Nya inquired. I sighed.
"I know where he is"
About 10 minutes later we all arrived at the hospital and barged into Clutch's room. His one leg was broken, propped up, and he also had a typewriter he was using.
"We need the second Scroll of Forbidden Spinjitzu!" Lloyd exclaimed.
"It is logical for you to comply." Zane informed.
"Time for you to earn your keep, explorer boy!" Nya instructed.
"Get up off your ass and come help us get the scroll" I added.
"What? No, no, no. Don't tell me. I don't want to know. You want to know why I don't want to know? Because it sounds like you want me to go on an adventure and no thanks!" Clutch protested.
"You're an explorer. All you do is adventure!" Lloyd argued.
"No. All I did was adventure. Now all I'm gonna do is cash big checks for writing books about those adventures. Cha-ching!" Clutch said, pulling out a paper from the typewriter and throwing it.
"Dr. Powers, all of Ninjago is at stake." Zane exclaimed.
"Can I tell you something about Ninjago? Its fate is always at stake. Besides, I've got a broken leg. I couldn't help you even if I wanted to. Which, I do not." Clutch informed, chugging on some soda.
"I mean he's not lying" I commented. Lloyd gave me a blank stare and I shrugged.
"But without the second Scroll of Forbidden Spinjitzu, we'll never—" Nya was cut off.
"Oh, the second scroll? That's what you're looking for? Ha! No problem. It's at the Explorer's Club." Clutch informed.
"Great! You're a member. You can help us." Lloyd said.
"Yeah, no. you see, that's the thing. Sounds like the beginning of an adventure, so, uh, how should I put this?" He took another sip of his soda "NEIN!" Clutch yelled.
"That's it! You're coming with us whether you like it or not." Nya exclaims. She began trying to pull him of the bed.
"Nya you do realize he still has a broken leg" I reminded.
"But he needs to help us!"
Clutch began to frantically push the emergency button he had.
