Finding You Part 6, Chapter 5 —
At General Hospital — In the hallway — Skylar and Skye were talking. "Skylar, thank you for talking to your sister," Skye said. "You're welcome. I'm glad Genevieve is all right," Skylar replied. "Me too. It was scary," Skye said as Rae approached. "How is Genevieve?" Rae asked. "She's good. She has burns on her left side and her back, but I'm going to take care of her," Skye said. "Genevieve is moving back home," Rae asked. "Yes, she is," Skye confirmed. "Mother, I'm going to get us a drink," Skylar said. "Sure," Skye responded. Skylar left. "Skye," Rae called out. "Oh, Mother, I was so scared when we got the call that I lost my baby girl without fixing things between us, and I'm going to make sure we fix it," Skye said. "Just don't push too hard," Rae advised. "I will not," Skye promised.
Genevieve's Room — Genevieve was sleeping when Lorenzo entered. "I will make sure you come back to us this time. I was so scared too of losing you, princess. You're better off without him, and you will never know about the baby. It's kind of a blessing that you lost it. You're too young to be a mother," Lorenzo said as Genevieve woke up. "Daddy," Genevieve said. "Princess, I'm glad you're moving back in. Your mother and I want to make things right and fix everything," Lorenzo added. "It's just until I get better, and I will get better," Genevieve said. "Yes, you will get better," Lorenzo assured her. Alan then entered. "Grandfather, well, Alexander, does he get better?" Genevieve asked. "Yes, he will," Alan replied. "I wish I could have said goodbye," Genevieve said. "I know. You need to focus on your recovery," Alan advised. Lorenzo agreed. "Grandfather, will my face heal?" Genevieve asked. "Yes, it will. After the burn heals, you can get plastic surgery," Alan explained. "We will find the best one," Lorenzo said. Genevieve felt tired. "Princess, why don't you take a nap?" Lorenzo suggested. "Alright," Genevieve agreed. "Yes, you're going to get better, and so is Alexander," Alan added. They then left.
In the hallway — Lorenzo and Alan exited Genevieve's room when Skye approached. "I was just going to see Genevieve," Skye said. "Skye, she's sleeping," Lorenzo replied. "Oh, Daddy, will Genevieve get better?" Skye asked. "Yes, she will," Alan confirmed. "What about Alexander?" Skye inquired. "It's bad; it's all over his body, but I believe he will get better," Alan replied. "Good," Skye said. "Genevieve loves him. Alexander pushed Genevieve out of the way," Skye added. "I hope he gets better too," Alan said before leaving. "Skye," Lorenzo called out. "I was so scared," Lorenzo admitted. "So was I," Lorenzo continued as Dr. Kelly approached. "Lorenzo, I just want to let you know I'll leave it up to you to tell Genevieve about the baby, but she will need to come back for a check-up soon," Dr. Kelly said. "Thank you," Lorenzo responded. "What baby?" Skye asked. "I will tell my wife," Lorenzo promised. Dr. Kelly left. "What's going on, Lorenzo?" Skye questioned. "Genevieve was pregnant and lost it. I don't think she knew she was pregnant," Lorenzo explained. "And you don't want to tell her?" Skye pressed. "No, I'm glad Genevieve lost the baby. She's too young for a child," Lorenzo stated. "Yes, she's too young, but Lorenzo, do you really know what you're doing?" Skye asked as Lorenzo touched her face. "Yes, I'm protecting our daughter from pain," Lorenzo said. "I want that too," Skye replied. "Skye, please," Lorenzo begged. "Are you sure Genevieve didn't know?" Skye inquired. "I don't know that," Lorenzo admitted. "I just don't want our daughter to get her hopes up only to lose her again," Skye said. "I understand," Lorenzo replied. "Let me see what I can find out," Skye offered. "Alright," Lorenzo agreed.
