Finding You Part 6 Chapter 16~
At Skye, Lorenzo, Lila Rae, Luis, and Skylar's place, Lorenzo, Lila Rae, Luis, and Skylar were downstairs when Genevieve and Skye came down. "Everyone is here," Skye said. "Yeah, one big happy family," Genevieve replied. "Genevieve, can we please have a nice family moment?" Lorenzo asked. "Fine," Genevieve agreed. "Genevieve, I'm glad you're okay," Luis Jr. said. "Thanks," Genevieve responded. "Thanks for replacing Mother's vase," Luis Jr. added. "Thanks for lying about my part in it," Genevieve replied as she sat on the couch, feeling overwhelmed, and picked up a chocolate croissant to eat some. "Skylar, how are you doing?" Genevieve asked. "I'm good," Skylar said. "It's nice to have everyone home," Lorenzo added. Genevieve got up. "I'm going to rest for a while," she said. "Sure," Skye replied. "Genevieve, later I need to talk to you," Skylar said. "Alright," Genevieve responded and went upstairs. "Mother, what's going on with Genevieve?" Skylar asked. "Genevieve saw scars on her face for the first time today," Skye explained. "How did she take it?" Skylar asked. "Genevieve didn't cry at all," Skye said. "Is it bad?" Skylar inquired. Skye touched her daughter's hair. "It will heal in time," Skye assured. "Good. Anyway, I have news I want to tell Genevieve myself. Daddy, I forgive you," Skylar said. Lorenzo approached Skylar. "You have?" Lorenzo asked. "Yes, I will never forget what happened to me, but I don't want to live with anger," Skylar responded. "I'm glad. I hate what my brother did to you," Lorenzo said. "I know, Daddy," Skylar replied, and they shared a hug. "Skylar, this means a lot to me. Our family means everything," Lorenzo said. "I know, Daddy," Skylar replied.
Genevieve was upstairs in her room, looked around, then opened the door to the backyard and left.
Downstairs—"Skylar, I know this is a big step for you," Skye said. "Yes, it is. Dr. Collins thinks it's a good thing," Skylar responded. "I'm glad you're seeing him. Maybe you can talk to Genevieve about seeing Dr. Collins too," Skye suggested. "Why do you want Genevieve to see him?" Skylar asked. "She's very angry that she made it out okay, and Alexander is hurting," Skye explained. "I will talk to her," Skylar said and went upstairs. "This is good; Skylar finally came around, and so will Genevieve," Skye said. "Yeah," Lorenzo agreed. Skylar came back down. "Mother, Daddy, Genevieve isn't in her room," Skylar said. "Nowhere could she have gone," Skye added. "Maybe to the barn to check on the new horse," Lila Rae suggested. "I'll go check," Lorenzo offered. "I'll call her on her cell," Skye said.
