Finding You Part 6, Chapter 36
— At Skye/Lorenzo — Skye and Lorenzo came home with Genevieve, who was still unsteady on her feet and struggling to walk. "Genevieve, let me help you upstairs. We need to change your bandages," Skye said. Skye took Genevieve's hand, and they headed upstairs to Genevieve's room. "Genevieve, how much have you had to drink? Are you sure it's not because you're only seventeen?" Skye asked. "Give me a break, mother, like you ever broke the law! Daddy breaks the law all the time," Genevieve replied. "Oh, Genevieve, I suppose it's your first time drinking, and you'll learn," Skye said. "It's not my first time; Alexander and I used to drink all the time in Italy," Genevieve said. "Well, now you're home, and you can't, especially with all your pills," Skye replied. "So, Mother, what's the real story about why we never meet Adam Chandler?" Genevieve asked. "Genevieve, I'm not getting into this right now. You need to sleep," Skye said. "Stop treating me like a child! I want to go home," Genevieve said. "You are home," Skye responded. "No! The home I have with Alexander, and I will have soon," Genevieve added. "Genevieve, I do want to work on us, but you make it hard," Skye admitted. "Right back at you, Mother," Genevieve said. "Let's change your bandages," Skye proposed. "I can do it myself," Genevieve insisted. "Not your back," Skye said. Genevieve sat on the bed, and Skye changed the bandages on her back. "Mother, tomorrow I'm moving back to my penthouse," Genevieve announced. "Who will take care of you?" Skye asked. "I'll hire a nurse," Genevieve replied as Lorenzo entered. "Is everything okay?" Lorenzo asked. "I was telling mother I'm going back to my place tomorrow," Genevieve said. "Oh, really," Lorenzo responded. "Genevieve, we'll talk in the morning. You should go to bed," Skye said. "Stop treating me like a child," Genevieve argued as she got up. "Genevieve, you can try to push us away, but it won't work," Skye told her. Skye kissed her daughter on the cheek, then she and Lorenzo left. Skye closed the door and cried. "Skye," Lorenzo said. "Genevieve isn't ready to move back to her hotel room," Skye replied. "I agree, and she's not going to," Lorenzo said. "How do we stop her?" Skye asked.
Genevieve's room — Genevieve was asleep in her bed, while someone watched her from the window. "This plan is going to work, I know it," the woman whispered.
At the Quartermaine Hotel — Adam and Erica's room — "This is a lovely room. So Skye's brother owns this hotel," Erica commented. "Yes," Adam confirmed. "Adam," Erica said. "This isn't going to be easy, being here," Adam admitted. "No, it's not. But I know you want to do this," Erica reassured him. "Yes, I do. I have to make it up to Skye," Adam stated. "You will," Erica promised. "I wish I knew what Skye's adopted mother did to her when she was little. I would have stopped it," Adam said. "I know you would," Erica replied, and they shared a hug.
At Carmen — Skylar and Carmen celebrated Skylar's hit show. "Skylar, tonight was great," Carmen said. "Yes, it was. My show was a hit, and I can't wait for the next one," Skylar replied. "It will be even better," Carmen said. "Yes," Skylar agreed, and they shared a kiss. "Skylar, are you okay?" Carmen asked. "I'm a bit worried about my sister," Skylar admitted. "You can check on her in the morning," Carmen suggested. "Yes," Skylar nodded.
