Finding You Part 6, Chapter 24~
At Skye and Lorenzo's house, Genevieve went into her bedroom and was upset by what she heard. She didn't want to have a babysitter. She picked up a vase and threw it, then picked up a piece of glass from the floor and sat down in the corner of her room. She took the glass and pressed it against her wrist as Lorenzo walked by. "Genevieve! What are you doing?" Lorenzo yelled. He walked past Genevieve and knelt down beside her. "Daddy, don't stop me. It would be better if I just killed myself. At least you and Mother wouldn't have to stop your lives for me or my brothers and sisters! This family would be better off, Alexander too!" Genevieve shouted. "Genevieve, don't we need you? Now give me the glass, please. I love you. You're named after my mother, who was a strong woman. You are strong," Lorenzo said. "I don't feel strong anymore," Genevieve replied. "I know, baby. You will get better. Please don't do that. Give me the glass," Lorenzo said. She handed the piece of glass to Lorenzo, which cut his hand slightly. "Daddy, I'm sorry," Genevieve whispered. "It's okay. Let's get you back in bed. I will have the maid clean up the mess and bring you some breakfast," Lorenzo said. "I just want to sleep today. I'm tired," Genevieve admitted. "Alright, you can sleep, baby. I love you," Lorenzo said. "I love you too, Daddy," Genevieve replied, which was rare. Lorenzo covered her with the blankets, kissed her on her cheeks, and left.
In the limousine, Skye and Lila Rae sat inside. "Lila Rae, I'm sorry about forgetting about this," Skye said. "I know you've been busy, and I'm glad Genevieve is fine. I love her even when she's a pain," Lila Rae replied. Skye touched her daughter's hair. "Genevieve loves you too," Skye said. "I saw a little of that when she came back from Italy. That's why she doesn't want me with Morgan—she worries I will get hurt," Lila Rae explained. "I'm worried about that too. Do you love Morgan?" Skye asked. "Yes, flaws and all, just like you and Daddy," Lila Rae answered. "Then you have my support. He just better keep you safe. This kind of lifestyle is hard to live," Skye said. "I know, Mother," Lila Rae replied. The limousine stopped. "We are here," Skye said. "Yes, Mother, if you only want to stay a day, you can," Lila Rae offered. "What about you?" Skye asked. "I can stay here alone," Lila Rae said. "Maybe," Skye responded. They got out of the limousine.
At Skye and Lorenzo's house, Lorenzo had a band-aid on his hand as Alan entered. "Lorenzo, what did you call me about?" Alan asked. "It's about Genevieve. Skye is at a fashion show with Lila Rae, and I don't know what to do," Lorenzo explained. "What happened?" Alan asked. "Genevieve tried to kill herself—my baby girl," Lorenzo said. "No, she needs to see Kevin," Alan suggested. "We've tried, you know, Genevieve," Lorenzo replied. "I will talk to her," Alan promised. "Alright, she's sleeping now," Lorenzo said. "Good. We will fix this," Alan assured him. "I hope so. I can't lose my baby girl," Lorenzo admitted. "You will not," Alan said.
