Finding You Part 6, Chapter 11
- At General Hospital - Genevieve was awake when Skye entered. "Mother, did you call Emily? Can I see Alexander?" Genevieve said. "No, he needs to recover right now, and so do you," Skye replied. "No, you're keeping him from me!" Genevieve yelled. Skye sat on her bed beside Genevieve. "No, sweetheart, I'm not keeping Alexander from me. You're feeling guilty right now," Skye said. "I just want my prince," Genevieve said. "You will have him soon," Skye assured her. "It was Alexander's idea to come back to town. I didn't want to leave—I loved Italy," Genevieve explained. "I'm glad you loved it," Skye responded. "Yes, the hotel room that Alexander brought for us is beautiful—an old art room with a large bedroom for us, a bathroom, so if Alexander forgets to put the seat down, I won't get upset, and there's a library with wonderful books, a pool, and a gym for us," Genevieve added. 'You work out?" Skye asked. "No, it was for Alexander. He would work out in the morning, and I would watch him," Genevieve said. "It sounds like a great trip. While you're recovering, think about all that time you've spent there with him," Skye said. "I will," Genevieve promised. "Why did Alexander want to come back?" Skye asked. "Alexander thinks I can fix things between you and Daddy. Alexander loves Emily as his mother but wishes he knew about his birth mother," Genevieve explained. "I get it," Skye said. "Don't tell Aunt Emily," Genevieve requested. "I will not," Skye agreed. "Thanks, Mother," Genevieve said. "Why don't you eat some of your lunch? Your father brought you a chicken sandwich you love," Skye suggested. She placed the sandwich on the table. "Alright," Genevieve replied. "I will be back," Skye said before leaving.
Skye walked into the hallway and rested her head against the wall, feeling stressed when Dr. Collins approached. "Skye, I'm going to see Genevieve," Dr. Collins said. "Alright, good luck with my daughter," Skye responded. "I will be fine," Dr. Collins assured her and left as AJ walked by. "Skye, how is Genevieve?" AJ asked. "She's angry right now. Alexander pushed her out of the way on the jet, and he has more burns than she does. I don't know how to reach my daughter," Skye said. "Just be patient," AJ advised. "I will try. So, Constanza is back," Skye noted. "Yes, Constanza came back, and so will Genevieve," AJ confirmed. "I hope so," Skye said.
In Genevieve's room, she was finishing her sandwich when Dr. Collins entered. "Dr. Collins, what are you doing here?" Genevieve asked. "I came to talk to you," Dr. Collins replied. "Why? I don't need to talk to anyone," Genevieve insisted. "Genevieve, you've been taught a lot. You may need to talk," Dr. Collins said. "Well, I don't. You can go," Genevieve insisted. "Alright, if you need to talk," Dr. Collins said before leaving.
Skye and Lorenzo waited in the hallway when Dr. Collins approached. "How did it go?" Lorenzo asked. "Not good. Genevieve wouldn't open up to me," Dr. Collins said. "I'm sorry," Skye offered. "It's okay," Dr. Collins responded. "How do we help our daughter?" Skye asked. "Just be there for her. Genevieve will come around," Dr. Collins advised. "I hope so," Skye agreed.
