Finding You Part 6, Chapter 22 —
At the Burn Center — Alexander's Room — Genevieve was in bed with Alexander, holding each other. "I wish I could stay here with you, I feel safe with you," Genevieve said. "You are, I miss you too," Alexander replied. "Do you know how long you'll be here?" Genevieve asked. "No, I don't. We will get better and then be back together," Alexander assured her. "Yes, making love in our place," Genevieve whispered. "Yes, Genevieve, there's something you need to know," Alexander said. "What?" Genevieve asked. "Helena was here — Father took care of her — but you need to be careful," Alexander said. "I will, Daddy still has bodyguards watching me. Soon, my parents will be here," Genevieve said. "Oh," Alexander responded. "It was worth it," Genevieve said. "Yes, it was," Alexander agreed, and they shared a kiss as Skye and Lorenzo entered. "Genevieve," Lorenzo said. "I just had to see Alexander," Genevieve replied. "It's okay. Alexander, thank you for saving our daughter," Skye said. "You don't have to thank me. I will always save Genevieve," Alexander responded as Nikolas and Emily entered. "Aunt Emily, Uncle Nikolas, I know I probably shouldn't be here, but I just had to see Alexander," Genevieve admitted. "It's okay," Nikolas reassured her. "Maybe if the doctors say it's okay, Genevieve can come visit me," Alexander added. "Yes," Nikolas agreed. "I'll go. Alexander, get better and come back to me," Genevieve said, kissing him on the lips. "Always," Alexander promised. "Come on, Genevieve," Lorenzo said, and they left. "Alexander, are you okay?" Emily asked. "Yes, it was nice to see my girl," Alexander said. "Good," Nikolas replied. "Do you think the doctors would let Genevieve visit?" Alexander asked. "I will talk to them," Nikolas assured him. "Good. She needs me, something's different with Genevieve," Alexander said. "Don't worry about Genevieve; you need to focus on your recovery," Nikolas advised. "I know, father," Alexander responded.
