Finding You, Part 6, Chapter 19—
At Skye's house/Lorenzo—Skye was downstairs examining some paperwork for her magazine when Constanza entered. "Aunt Skye," Constanza said. "Constanza, Genevieve is resting," Skye replied. "I want to talk to you. I'm sorry about Genevieve," Constanza said. "What is it?" Skye asked. "At the coffee shop today, Genevieve told me she felt like everyone was staring at her and she was losing her mind," Constanza explained. "Oh no, I've been worried about her," Skye responded. "Thank you," Constanza said. "You're welcome. I love Genevieve," she added. "I know. She loves you too," Skye said just as Skylar entered. "Constanza, I heard you were back," Skylar said. "Yes, I'm sorry for not being here for you," Constanza replied, taking her hand. "It's okay. We're just glad you're back," Skylar said. "Yes, we are," Skye added. "Aunt Skye, please don't say anything," Constanza requested. "I won't," Skye assured her. Constanza then left. "Mother, what's going on?" Skylar asked. "We had to stop at the coffee shop, and Genevieve told Constanza she thought people were staring at her. I'm worried about your sister's mental health. I wish she would talk to someone," Skye explained. "You can't make her," Skylar said. "I can try," Skye replied. "Do you want me to talk to her?" Skylar offered. "No, I will," Skye said and went upstairs.

At the airport, Lorenzo was talking to a pilot. "So, did you find out why my daughter's plane went down?" Lorenzo asked. "It was mechanical error. We have the documents right here," the pilot responded. "Thank you," Lorenzo said, taking the papers and leaving.

At Skye and Lorenzo's—Genevieve was in her room, looking out the window when Skye entered and walked past her. "Sweetheart, we need to talk," Skye said. "Mother, do you think I will still get to go to Yale this fall?" Genevieve asked. "Yes, you'll recover. If not, I know you can go when you're ready. I'm sure of it," Skye assured her. Genevieve turned around and looked at her mother. "I hope I can go this fall. It's part of the plan," she said. "Whose plan?" Skye asked. "Mine," Genevieve replied. "Oh, Genevieve, I know you don't want to talk to Dr. Collins about how you're feeling, so I want you to talk to me. Remember, we were going to do the one honest answer of the day," Skye said. "Mother," Genevieve responded. "Genevieve, it's not a bad thing to talk about your feelings, and I will not hurt you with it," Skye reassured her. "Why are you doing this?" Genevieve asked. "How did you feel going to the coffee shop today?" Skye asked, gently touching her daughter's hair. "I didn't like it. It was too hard," Genevieve admitted. "I know it's scary to go out for the first time. It took a lot of me when I went out after my burn. Remember?" Skye said. "Yes, I remember. You had a hard time walking," Genevieve responded. "Yes, I did. Genevieve, I'm glad you're opening up to me," Skye said. "Yeah, I want to read now," Genevieve said. "Sure. Dinner will be ready soon," Skye replied, kissing her daughter on the cheek before leaving.

At the Burn Center, Alan and Monica arrived and ran into Emily and Nikolas. "Mother, Daddy," Emily greeted. "How is Alexander doing? Do you need anything?" Alan asked. "Alexander is getting better. Thanks," Nikolas said. "Yes, he is. He had a good day," Emily added. "That's good," Monica said. "Yes, Genevieve wants to see him so badly," Alan said. "Alexander wants to see her too, but they both need to recover," Nikolas stated. "Yes," Alan agreed. "Thank you both for coming," Nikolas said and then left. "Emily, how are you doing?" Monica inquired. "I was scared at first, but Alexander is recovering so well," Emily shared. "Good," Alan said. "Yes," Emily responded.
