Finding You, Part 6, Chapter 17
— At The Quartermaine Hotel — AJ was working at the desk when Genevieve came in and headed to her room. AJ picked up his phone and called Skye.
At Skye and Lorenzo's — Lorenzo returned inside. "Genevieve isn't here," Lorenzo said as Skye's phone rang. "Skye Alcazar, AJ, what is it?" Skye asked and hung up. "That was AJ. Genevieve is at the hotel," Skye said. "Let's go," Lorenzo said. "Yes," Skye replied.
At the Quartermaine Hotel — Genevieve's Room — Genevieve opened the door and looked around. She loved her place and missed Alexander so much that she picked up a picture of herself and Alexander, touched it with her hands, and pressed it to her heart. Then she walked into her room, looked around, and sat on the bed she shared with Alexander, remembering all the times they made love. When Skye and Lorenzo entered, Skye yelled, "Genevieve, are you here?". "Genevieve, are you okay?" Lorenzo asked. "Yes, I just need to grab some of my belongings," Genevieve said. "I could have gone with you. We were worried that you took off," Skye said. "Nothing bad is going to happen to me again," Genevieve replied. She got up and saw Alexander's briefcase on the table, touched it, and said, "This is Alexander. I bought it for him on his birthday." She opened it and saw the paperwork inside. "I bet this is important for the empire. I wonder who is running it now," Genevieve said. "I'm sure Nikolas doesn't care about that," Lorenzo replied. "Alexander just wants to run it properly and make his father proud," Genevieve said. "Yeah," Skye agreed. "I think I'll give this to Nikolas," Genevieve said. "Let's go get your belongings," Skye added. "I have some shoes I want, and a scarf to cover my face," Genevieve said as she went into her closet to pick out shoes. "In Italy, I bought some designer shoes—they were so cute and expensive, but I guess they were destroyed in the fire," she added. She packed the shoes in a bag. "We can replace the shoes," Skye said. "Your mother's right," Lorenzo said. "Do you have everything you need?" Skye asked. "There's a picture in the living room I want," Genevieve said. They went into the living room, and Genevieve picked up the picture of herself and Alexander before leaving with her parents.
In the lobby — Michael was downstairs talking to Carly and Josslyn when Genevieve, Lorenzo, and Skye arrived. "Genevieve, I'm glad you're well," Michael said. "Thank you, Michael," Genevieve responded. "Genevieve, I'm glad you're alright," Josslyn added. Carly and Josslyn left. "Whatever, can we go?" Genevieve asked. "Yes, I have to stop at my coffee shop," Lorenzo said. "Alright, Mother and I can go home," Genevieve replied. "Genevieve, you can come with me," Lorenzo offered. "Daddy," Genevieve said. Lorenzo touched her chin. "You're an Alcazar and Quartermaine; you can handle anything. You're strong, just like your mother and me," Lorenzo said. "Alright," Genevieve agreed. "Let's go," Skye said, and they left.
