Finding You Part 6, Chapter 18 —
At Kelly's — Skylar and Carman were having lunch. "Carman, do you still want to date me?" Skylar asked. "Yes, we can figure out something. If we end up getting married, we don't know what the future holds, but I want to be with you," Carman replied. "I want that too. I forgive my father," Skylar said. "Wow, this is why I love you, Skylar," Carman said. "Thanks. Are you okay with it?" Skylar asked. "Skylar, this is up to you, not anyone else," Carman answered. "Thanks. I haven't told my sister Genevieve yet. I'm scared about how she'll take it," Skylar said. "Genevieve needs to realize it's your choice," Carman said. "My sister doesn't make it easy," Skylar admitted. "No," Carman agreed.
At Lorenzo's coffee shop— Lorenzo came in with Skye and Genevieve. "It will not take long. Genevieve, order whatever you want," Lorenzo said. "I will," Genevieve replied. Lorenzo went into his office as Skye's phone rang. "I have to take this," Skye said and stepped away to answer. Genevieve looked around and felt like everyone was staring and making fun of her. She was about to leave when Constanza approached.
"Genevieve, are you okay?" Constanza asked.
"Not really. It feels like everyone is looking at me," Genevieve admitted.
"No one is looking at you. Where are Lorenzo and Skye?" Constanza inquired.
"Daddy's in the office. Mother is on her phone," Genevieve said.
"It's going to be all right," Constanza reassured her.
"I feel like I'm losing my mind," Genevieve said as Skye approached.
"Constanza, how are you?" Skye asked.
"Alright," Constanza responded.
"Mother, is the magazine okay?" Genevieve asked.
"Yes," Skye replied.
Lorenzo then came over. "Constanza, it's good to see you. Whatever you want is in the house," Lorenzo said.
"Thanks," Constanza replied.
"Can we go home?" Genevieve asked.
"Yes," Lorenzo agreed, and they left.
At Morgan and Lila Rae's new house— Lila Rae was unpacking some belongings, making the place feel like home, when Morgan entered.
"Morgan," Lila Rae greeted.
"Lila Rae, how was your day?" Morgan asked.
"Alright. I saw my sister today," Lila Rae said.
"How did it go with Genevieve?" Morgan inquired.
"I hate that my sister was burned. Yes, she can be a pain, but I love her. I hope things work out with Genevieve and my parents. Mother wants a chance with her so badly," Lila Rae explained.
"I hope it goes the way your mother wants," Morgan said.
"Me too," Lila Rae replied.
