Finding You, Part 6, Chapter 27

At the Quartermaine mansion, Alan entered the den where Tracy was. "You look like hell," Tracy said. "Thank you, Tracy," Alan replied. "What is it?" Tracy asked as Alan poured himself a drink. "It's about my granddaughter, Genevieve—that she tried to kill herself today," Alan explained. "No, I'm sorry," Tracy said, hugging him. "Thank you," Alan responded. "Is she okay?" Tracy inquired. "Somewhat. Genevieve has agreed to speak with Dr. Collins. Tracy, I know you have your history with Skye, but Genevieve looks up to you. Can you talk to her?" Alan asked. "Sure, I always like her," Tracy said. "Thank you," Alan said. "Why did Genevieve try to end her life?" Tracy asked. "Genevieve doesn't like that Skye has to take care of her. She hates losing her independence," Alan explained. "Yes, she does. But even the independent can ask for help," Tracy said. "Tell that to Genevieve," Alan replied. "I will," Tracy said. "Thank you," Alan said. "We'll help her," Tracy assured him. "Yes, we will," Alan agreed.

At an art gallery, Skylar was hanging her artwork when a man approached. "Your show tomorrow is going to be a hit," he said. "I hope so; it's my first one," Skylar replied. "Yes, well, your family is here," he added. "Yes," Skylar said. "What's the story behind that painting?" he asked. "It's called a Lost Soul. Sometimes, we all feel lost," Skylar explained. "Yes," he agreed. "I need to go," Skylar said, then left.

At the Quartermaine Hotel, AJ was talking to Constanza when Skye, Lorenzo, and Genevieve arrived. "Constanza," Genevieve said. "Genevieve, it's good to see you out," Constanza responded. "Yes, it is," AJ added. "What are you doing here?" Genevieve asked. "I'm now the new hostess," Constanza replied. "Really? That's nice," Genevieve remarked. "Yes, I know you'll be great at it," Skye said. "Yes," Lorenzo agreed. "Thank you. Do you want a table?" Constanza asked. "Yes, in the back," Genevieve said. Lorenzo took her hand. "We want the best table," he said. "I'll show you to your table," Constanza offered. "I'll be right there," Skye said. Lorenzo and Genevieve followed Constanza.

"Skye, what's wrong?" AJ asked. "My baby tried to kill herself today while I was at a fashion show with my oldest," Skye replied. "Skye, it's not your fault," AJ reassured her. "I feel horrible," Skye said, and AJ hugged her. "I know I need to be strong for my baby," Skye added. "Yes, and you can come to me to talk about this or fall apart, and I'll help—just ask," AJ said. "Thanks," Skye replied.

In the dining room, Constanza led Lorenzo and Genevieve to their table as Lorenzo's phone rang. "I have to take this," he said. "Fine," Genevieve responded. Lorenzo stepped outside. "Is something going on?" Constanza asked. "Yeah," Genevieve said as more people entered. "I need to get back to work. I will call you," Constanza said. "Alright," Genevieve responded. Just as she was about to sit down, someone approached. "Let me help you," he said, pulling out her chair. "I don't need help with my chair. I can do it myself. I'm not helpless," Genevieve said without looking at him yet. "You're still the same, aren't you?" he asked. "I don't know you," she replied, turning around. "Genevieve," he said. "Clinton Barrington," she responded. "Genevieve Alcazar," he added. "Why are you back in town?" she asked. "I miss Port Charles. It's good to see you," Clinton said. "Yeah, I did. I look like a freak—I was in a fire," Genevieve noted. "Well, I'm glad you're okay. I'd like to get to know you," Clinton said. "I'm seeing someone," she replied. "Oh, still Alexander Cassadine?" Clinton asked. "Yes," she said as Skye and Lorenzo approached. "Who is this?" Skye asked. "Mother, Daddy, this is Clinton Barrington. Remember him?" Genevieve introduced him. "Yes, I do. It's good to see you," Skye said. "Yes, it is," Lorenzo added. "Thank you. I should go now. Genevieve, we should catch up sometime," Clinton said. "Maybe," she replied. Clinton left. "He seems nice," Lorenzo commented. "Clinton isn't anything but nice. He's a player. I could never stand him," Genevieve said. "He could have a chance," Lorenzo replied. "Why do I care? I have Alexander. I need to use the ladies' room," Genevieve said. "Alright, I'll order you a drink," Skye offered. "Thanks, Mother," Genevieve said and left. "Lorenzo, what are you up to?" Skye asked. "Nothing," Lorenzo responded. "Lorenzo, I know you inside and out. What's going on?" Skye pressed. "Alright, I think our daughter needs to move on from Alexander. I believe Clinton is the best to help," Lorenzo admitted. "You had a hand in bringing Clinton back?" Skye asked. "Yes," Lorenzo confirmed. "Lorenzo, right now, we just need to focus on helping our daughter, not worrying about her love life," Skye advised. "I agree," Lorenzo said. "Good," Skye replied. When Genevieve returned, she asked, "Is everything okay?" "Yes, let's order," Skye said.
