Finding You, Part 6, Chapter 13 — "Cassadine Heir"
At the Burn Center, in Alexander's room, he was sleeping while Nikolas watched him. Nikolas was tired when Robin entered, and they went into the hallway.
"How is Alexander?" Robin asked.
"Not good. The burns are all over his body," Nikolas replied.
"Well, this is a good place for him, but I will look at his chart if you want," Robin offered.
"Yes, please," Nikolas agreed.
"Emily and you aren't alone in this," Robin added.
"Thanks," Nikolas said as Emily approached.
"Robin, it's good to see you," Emily said.
"You too. I was telling Nikolas you're not alone, and I want to help," Robin responded.
"Thanks," Emily said.
"How's Genevieve? Alexander's been asking about her," Nikolas inquired.
"She has burns on her back and the left side of her face, but that's it. Genevieve is going to move back with her parents to recover," Robin explained.
"Alexander will be glad to hear that Genevieve is okay," Nikolas commented.
"Yes," Emily agreed.
Nikolas's phone rang; it was Victor.
"I have to take this," Nikolas said and stepped away.
"Robin, here is Alexander's chart. What do you think? The burns are on his entire body," Emily asked as she handed Robin the chart.
"I think some of Alexander's body will have scars from this," Robin answered.
"I think so too," Emily said.
In Alexander's room, he was sleeping when someone entered and passed by his bed.
"My prince, who did this to you?" a woman asked, touching his hair as Nikolas entered.
"Alexander," Nikolas said, looking at her.
"Helena, why are you here?" Nikolas questioned.
"I just came to check on our prince," Helena responded.
"My son will be fine. I will take care of him; you need to leave," Nikolas insisted.
"How did this happen?" Helena asked.
"It was a mechanical air," Nikolas explained.
"Are you sure it's not the mob princess's daddy's fault?" Helena challenged.
"Leave Genevieve alone," Nikolas ordered.
"Or what?" Helena retorted.
"I will kill you. My son loves Genevieve," Nikolas threatened.
"Alexander could do better," Helena said.
Nikolas yelled, "Get out!" as Alexander woke up.
"Father, what is going on?" Alexander asked.
"Alexander, we will get you better," Helena said.
"Helena, why are you here?" Alexander questioned.
"To let you know I will take care of whoever did this to you," Helena declared.
"Leave Genevieve alone," Alexander commanded.
"Alexander, you can do better," Helena insisted.
"No! I don't want anyone else but her!" Alexander yelled.
"It's okay, son. I will take care of her," Nikolas reassured, grabbing Helena and heading into the hallway.
"Helena," Emily said.
"Emily, Robin, it's nice to see you. Does Alexander know who his real mother is?" Helena asked.
"I'm his real mother. You will leave my son alone," Emily responded.
"I will deal with her," Nikolas said and went with Helena.
"Emily, are you okay?" Robin asked.
"Sometimes I wish I had given birth to the boys. I love them like my own," Emily admitted.
"I know you do. Love to create a family," Robin said.
"Yes, it does. But I know soon the boys will want to know who she is," Emily said.
"Yeah," Robin agreed.
"Let's go check on Alexander," Emily suggested, and they left.
In Alexander's room, he was trying to get out of bed when Emily and Robin entered.
"Alexander, what are you doing?" Emily asked.
"I need to stop Helena from going after my girl," Alexander replied.
Emily helped him back into bed.
"Nikolas is going to make sure Helena doesn't go after Genevieve. You need to focus on your recovery," Emily advised.
"Your mother is right," Robin added.
"Yes, mother," Alexander said.
Dr. Scorpio, how is Genevieve?" Alexander asked.
"She is recovering very well. She misses you," Robin answered.
"I miss her too," Alexander said.
"In time, you both will see each other," Emily reassured.
"Yes," Alexander agreed.
Nikolas was on the hospital roof with Helena.
"So, what are you going to do? Throw me off?" Helena challenged as someone approached.
"Let me take care of her," a man said.
"You're alive," Nikolas said.
"Yes, let me do this for you. No one knows I'm alive," the man assured.
"I sure get back to my son," Nikolas said.
"Yes, you have a lot to lose. I don't," the man replied.
Nikolas left.
"You're not going to kill me," Helena said.
"Why not, Mother?" Stefan asked.
Nikolas returned inside to Alexander's room where Emily and Robin were.
"Father, is Helena gone?" Alexander asked.
"It will be fine, son," Nikolas said.
"Thank you," Alexander responded.
"You're welcome, son," Emily said.
