Author Note: This is a Naruto x Fire Force crossover where Naruto is transported to the world of Fire Force after the retrieval mission gone wrong. I've been thinking about what ignition ability I should give Naruto. For the most part, I've been thinking about giving him something related to the sun just like how he had the sun seal from Hagoromo but Shinmon Benimaru already had that.
After much consideration, I've decided to give him the ignition ability of [Stardust]. You can give me ideas of course on how he can use it but so far I'm planning on using it to allow him to teleport around similar to how Yuno Grinberryall (Black Clover) does and also how Jellal (Fairy Tail) does. Naruto will also be able to give his sword the weight of a star itself making only he is capable of lifting it.
Plot of the Story is the following: Naruto was sent on a retrieval mission to bring Sasuke Uchiha back before he made it outside the border of the Land of Fire. After the help of many of his Leaf Comrade, Naruto was able to have his showdown with Sasuke at the Valley of the End where both their ancestors had fought to see their dream realized.
During the last clash, a rift in space & Time had been torn open leading Naruto to be sucked in it before he could even put up any fight. As Naruto was not going to survive the dimension travel, the Shinigami had decided to take the Nine Tails as this was promised to him through the contract.
Fortunately for Naruto, both his parents had left a chakra imprint of themselves in the seal that manifested upon sensing their son near death. Offering their own lifeforce, both Minato and Kushina were able to avert Naruto's death but as a result barely had a few minute of conversation with Naruto to truly express their love for him and their wishes.
Naruto Uzumaki was an unsung hero who was made to bear the weight of holding back the Nine Tail since birth. Every breath he took meant that the Leaf Village could continue to see another day. Yet, he was not treated as a hero instead he was treated as the harbinger of death. Naruto had served as constant reminder of what they had lost and seeing him run around without any consequences had angered them and as a result had wished to inflict pain on him to remind him of the blood he had took. It was a misguided hatred and they consciously knew it but denied it.
Naruto had no family to speak off as they had died during his birth leaving him behind. He didn't have friends because he couldn't keep a relationship going for even a half day. Almost everyone hated him and he never understood why. His academy days were filled with bitterness with him being constantly ignored by those around him and discouraged from learning because he would always get yelled at whenever he tried anything. Despite this, there were people who filled his lonely life with light and he held onto that light.
Graduating from the academy, Naruto had vowed to prove to everyone that he was not defined by the seal in his stomach and instead prove his merits by becoming the Hokage. Joining team 7, despite their many arguments, Naruto had come to cherish the bond they shared together and they quickly became the family he never had but that was never meant to last long when Sasuke had betrayed the village due to not becoming strong enough to acquire revenge. Their clash had caused a rift in space-time to open up and swallow him inside sending him to another world.
What will happen when the Nine Tail is removed from Naruto due to the Shinigami? What will happen when the fragment of his parents soul decided to offer their own lifeforce to save him? What will Naruto do when he wakes up in another world with nothing? What will happen when Naruto decide to join company 8? Will Naruto be able to live in this new world and bury his own past under a rug? Or will his past come back to hunt him?
