----------------------------------

It was Christmas Adam, or the day before Christmas Eve, and Taylor was busy getting everything ready for the coming days. It was her and Travis' year to host Christmas at their place, and everything needed to be perfect. She had been cooking up a storm with Travis trying his best to help out around the kitchen. Mostly she had given him the task of cutting up veggies and fruit and putting anything on the grill outside that she may have needed. Those were his specialties. King of Chopping and King of Grilling.

She couldn't wait to have the house full of family again. She loved it. She loved entertaining and she loved seeing everybody together. With everyone living in different states, it was hard for them all to get together on a normal basis. Kylie and Jason and the girls would most likely be the first to arrive, then Austin, his girlfriend, and his son, and then the parents would come trickling in after one by one.

"MOMMY!!!" Taylor could hear Caleb calling from the other room. He was trying his hardest to get into the kitchen to sit at her feet with his iPad. As much shit that little boy gave her, he always wanted to be under her. He was such a momma's boy, an even bigger one than Travis was with his own mother. Taylor turned off the stove, and walked into the living room where Travis had the boys occupied.

"Yes, my love." She answered her son as she plopped down on the couch next to Travis. Caleb got up from playing with Marvel toys with his brother to go over to his mother. Taylor picked him up and hugged him. He was such a cuddly boy, something he most likely got from her. She loved a good hug.

"When are Wy and Ellie and Auggie getting here?" Caleb asked about his cousins. Taylor loved just how close all of the cousins were.

"Should be soon." Taylor told him. Just as she said that the doorbell rang. "See." Caleb jumped off of his mother's lap and ran to the door, ready to open it. Travis followed close behind him, ready to open the door.  Travis opened the door, revealing his brother and sister-in-law, and his three nieces. Caleb instantly hugged his cousins Wyatt and Elliotte. Caleb was so much like his mother, he was a hugger. He wanted all the hugs and all the cuddles. It didn't take long for Caleb to drag Wyatt and Elliotte into the house and then into his and his brother's playroom so they could get started on terrorizing and pulling everything out to play with.

"How was the drive down brother?" Travis asked him brother, who just gave him a dirty look. Travis couldn't help but laugh.

"Mr. Grump over here didn't want help driving, but complained that he had to do all the driving," Kylie announced as she walked in with baby Bennett, who was almost a year old now.

"You wouldn't have driven if I paid you."

"I offered to drive when you started to look like you wanted to sleep, but you refused. Remember?" Kylie defended. She rolled her eyes at him, and by this time Taylor was standing to greet her in laws. "Hey, Tay." Kylie said, making her way over to Taylor and hugging her.

"Hey. Merry Christmas Adam." Taylor replied, hugging her sister-in-law back. She and Kylie had become so close since they met each other. It was almost as if they were siblings more so than the brothers were at times. They were always sharing information with each other and getting family gatherings together. They had a similar sense of family as each other, and they made sure to put all of their ideas together. The rotating holiday schedule was also mostly their idea. As the boys went back out of the house to collect some things that needed to be brought into the house, Taylor and Kylie went into the kitchen, with baby Bennett. "Are yall ok?" Taylor asked Kylie. She had never seen she and Jason go at each other the way she did the first three seconds they stepped into the house.
