continuation of the moment i knew

Having gotten to her place around 6:30, it gave Taylor and Travis made the decision that they could still make the most of her birthday before it ended. He hated that she had spent most of it sulking around her apartment, in bed crying, and ignoring her friends. He had made reservations of 8PM, and once it was set, they started to get ready for the evening. Surprisingly enough they were able to get ready and be out the door by 7:45, luck that the restaurant was only about ten minutes away from Taylor's place.
While they were wining and dining, Travis had her friends on a mission. A mission to make her apartment look as romantic as possible. They were given the task to get whatever they needed to make it happen, and he would pay them back, and pay them extra, for their efforts. Taylor deserved everything good in the world, and from now until she no longer let him, he was going to give it to her.
It was nearing 10:30 when they finally got back to her place. They had eaten, had dessert, and talked the majority of the night, losing track of time. Her friends texted him, letting him know everything was set, and that her place was just waiting on them to return. "Did I ever say thank you?" Taylor asked once they got to her apartment door.
"You did, and you don't have to thank me, baby. It's your birthday, and it's what you deserve." He got out his key and opened the door to her apartment, revealing a very dark environment.
"We didn't leave all these lights off, did we?" Taylor asked, very confused.
"I don't think so. Weird," Travis replied. "It's fine, fewer lights we have to turn off once we go to bed." He told her, trying to play off what was really going on. He watched her kick her heels off into the corner of the room, and place her purse on the hook near the door. She walked over to him and wrapped her arms around his neck.
"I know you said I don't have to thank you, but I feel like I do. Thank you for making my birthday special. It wasn't much but I appreciate it." She told him. She was truly thankful for his effort. For his attention. For his love. He placed a kiss on her lips as a "you're welcome."
"How should we end this night?" He asked her, a smirk on his face.
"Cuddles." She wore a similar smirk.
"Just cuddles?" He asked, kissing her lips quickly.
"Spicy cuddles?" Travis let out a laugh.
"I think I can give spicy cuddles." The thought made Taylor feel warm on the insides. He had been gone almost a week, and she missed him. She missed him more than she should have.
"Should we go to your room?" She replied with a nod. She let him go and took his hand, leading him to her bedroom. Another closed door, that she did not remember closing on her way out earlier. She was starting to get a bit suspicious, but not enough to ask questions. She opened her bedroom door, revealing a dimly lit room. It was decorated nicely, and Taylor couldn't help but to stare in amazement.
"You did this for me?" She asked in shock.
"Yeah, why wouldn't I?" She walked around the room, seeing the fairy lights hanging from the ceiling, the rose petals scattered around the floor, the candles lit around the room. "I also have a little bath waiting on you, a bit of relaxation." He took her hand and led her into the bathroom that was attached to her bedroom. The bathroom was set up almost the same. Lights hanging from the ceiling, rose petals scattered on the floor and in the bathtub that was filled with water, and candles lining the bathtub.
