continuation of something about her

------------------------------

Travis tried to grab Taylor's arm before she walked up the few steps to his brother and sister-in-law's first door. The tension from this morning's argument was still looming. "At least pretend to be happy so they don't ask questions," Travis whispered in her ear once he was directly behind her. She had already rang the doorbell, and he could hear the sounds of his nieces of the other side of the door, trying to open it. Taylor's response was to not respond at all.

The door opened, revealing Wyatt, Elliotte, and Kylie. Taylor faked a smile. "Uncle Trav!" Yelled Wyatt, who flew right into Travis.

"Aunt Tay!" Screamed Elliotte. Both little girl's reactions were fitting. Wyatt was obsessed with her uncle, and everyone joked that she loved him more than her own parents, while Elliotte loved her some Taylor. She wanted to be just like her aunt and Taylor was honored.

"Hii, Merry Christmas!" Taylor greeted the three of them but picked up Ellie, and walked into the house. Kylie looked at Travis, already picking up the tension between the two of them.

"Don't ask. Merry Christmas." Travis told his sister-in-law. He picked up Wyatt and gave her the biggest hug.

"I wasn't but mom is," Kylie whispered, knowing how Donna Kelce was. Donna Kelce could pick up on the smallest changes in ANY of her children or grandchildren, including the significant others. She noticed, and she was going to ask about it. "You guys fighting again?" Kylie asked, even though she said she wasn't. Travis just replied by nodding, as the two

"No fighting," Wyatt told her uncle, which caused him to cover her mouth.

"Ky!" Travis whispered harshly. "Wy, you can't say that. Ok?" Travis told her 4-year-old. Wyatt nodded her little head and Travis removed his hand from her mouth. Travis carried the little girl into the living room, where the rest of the family was seated. He put his niece down and walked over to his brother. "Can you help me get the girls' gifts out of the car?" Travis asked his brother.

"Sure man." Jason got up from his recliner and followed Travis back out of the door. Travis opened the truck of the car, revealing over thirty different gifts. "You two spoil them too much," Jason said seeing the presents.

"You know how Taylor is." Taylor was a gift-giver. She loved giving gifts. She loved seeing people's reactions when they opened something and they loved it.

Jason let out a little laugh. "What's going on with you two? You both seem upset." Travis hated how much both he and Taylor wore their emotions on their faces. There was no hiding when either of them was upset.

"We got into it this morning. Didn't get resolved before we came over." Travis stated, not wanting to go into details about their argument, even though before the night was over either he or Taylor was going to explode and everyone would know.

"Did you at least propose like you were planning to?" Jason asked, picking up the gifts and stacking them on top of each other so they could make as few trips as possible back to the car.

"No. We've been at each other's throats since we woke up."

"What the fuck did you do man?" Jason asked.

"I didn't do anything, she's making assumptions," Travis admitted. The two of them carried the gifts they had both picked up into the house, put the presents under the tree, and headed back outside.
