Sanemi had tried his best not to freak out when he had seen the lead alpha of the Aqua tribe. He looked so much like his father, the same raven hair and the same lifeless eyes. When Giyuu had offered him a seat Sanemi had stayed put, his father would use that trick to drive his head into the wooden table. What Sanemi was not expecting was for Giyuu to ask why HE wanted to enter this alliance. He thought that he had no say in this, but the alpha made it the exact opposite. But nothing, not even a few years of love can erase the torment that Sanemi faced. He had thought that he could repulse the alpha by his hideous looks, or with his bratty attitude. But noooooooooo, that seemed to have perked the alpha's interest more.

"Just so you know, I like taming beasts."

That's what the Alpha told him. Sanemi would have run out the door that instant but he was glued to the floor by fear, terror and so much more. His mind had raced at the thought of how the Alpha would have tamed him. He hoped for the life of him that he had repulsed the Aqua tribe leader to not choose him.

And that's when it happened.

His boisterous uncle barged through his bedroom doors clad in his pyjamas and a blinding smile splattered on his face.

"He said yes!" Shindo said.

And Sanemi felt like time stopped.

"What?" his small voice questioned.

Shindo's smile dropped into a frown of concern.

"The head Alpha of Aqua, Giyuu Tomioka, has accepted our mating alliance proposal." Shindo spoke slowly so that the bewildered omega could process the information.

Hysteria welled up inside Sanemi, he would not be used like a breeding toy again. He wanted to scream, to run, his flight or fight instincts were going haywire. His eyes widened and before he could even process the upcoming events, he ran.

He ran across the bridge.

He ran across the empty market.

He ran across the fields.

He ran towards the only place he felt safe.

He stopped, panting in front of Masachika's house, fat tears rolling down his scarred cheeks.

He screamed, with all his might, his knees buckling and his hands gripping his hair. But before he hit the ground, strong arms held him. Sanemi looked up to find the person he considered a brother looking down at him. He sniffled and leaned closer to Masachika's scent glands, trying to get the calming scent into his system. All the while Masachika held him. After Sanemi finally calmed down, the black-haired alpha gathered the courage to ask,

"Giyuu accepted you?"

The omega nodded, his eyes full of terror.

Sanemi hated the procedures he had to go through. Dress up, be carried in a manned carriage. And the show he has to put on is fucking disgusting, smiling and waving and making people think that he's happy to be wedded to this 'tribe leader'. It's fake, he hates people who lie, yet here he is, a big fat liar, lying about his joy and happiness. He wanted to scream at the other omegas that came up to him and congratulated him on bagging such a wealthy man. He felt hysteria well up inside him every instant of time whenever a person came up to him. On the eve of his departure to the Aqua tribe, Sanemi went hunting. The stress and panic that accumulated in the past few weeks needed to get out of his systems, or else Sanemi would burst. Hunting was a great mode of venting. So here he is, in the jungle that surrounds the Ventus tribe, desperately looking for game. He journeyed through the thick brambles that obstructed his path. A crunch of leaves caught his attention. As Sanemi turned, he saw a magnificent white stag, it was common in Ventus, but it sold for millions. He pulled out his bow, armed it with a copper tipped arrow and took aim. The stag looked at Sanemi and he shot it in the eye. The stag dropped to the ground, warm blood oozing out of its socket. Sanemi approached the stag with pride, but once he reached the dead creature's body, he saw two arrows penetrated deep in the animal's eye socket. Panicked, he looked around.
