The day was here. A battle team from Aqua was ready to depart, and so was Sanemi. He pulled on his armour, something that he hadn't done in ages. He opened a box near his wardrobe, inside sat the necklace Giyuu had given him years prior, the one with the emeralds. He put it on, and the necklace had served as a reminder that he was never alone if Giyuu was still drawing breath. He stepped out of the room and walked towards the stables. He reigned in Akira, the horse he had first ridden on and brought her to the lines. Giyuu was already upon his steed, he locked eyes with his mate and nodded. They were ready, Sabito, Kanae, Shinobu, Masachika, Shindo and many others were on the team.
"Soldiers DEPART!" Giyuu called out, the galloping of horses was heard as they travelled to Ventus. They had decided to split the army into teams to avoid detection, the first theme had left, and Sanemi and the others were in the second team. Steadily advancing to Ventus. Sanemi's gaze hardened. The tribe was a place of both bad and good memories. Now it would be a battleground. Blood would paint its white soil, no matter whose.

The camp had been set up, rations divided, armour stocked, weapons stocked everything was in place, yet Sanemi had never felt this antsy. He was walking around the tent, trying to find faults in anything he could fix, the nerves inside him were so severe that he curled into a small ball and tried to override them. A cool hand placed upon him jolted him back, calming the buzzing underneath his skin.
"Nemi... it's time." Sanemi looked up to see Masachika, the one who had been with him from the start. Standing up for him when he could not.
"Then let's destroy them." Sanemi said. He took Masachika's outstretched hand and hauled himself up. Sanemi wasn't known to be gentle, sticks and stones and broken bones, that was his language. And on the battlefield, he could speak it fluently.

Sanemi waited inland as Giyuu departed. They had decided that Giyuu be placed near the docks as that was where the attackers were going to enter from. If they appeared inland, it would mean that the docks had fallen, and either that Giyuu had fallen or that they were overpowered. Sanemi eyed the horizon, waiting for something to happen. He held his breath as a cloud of dust descended from the direction of the docks. Upon further inspection, Sanemi noticed that these were their foes.
"ARMS AT READY!" Masachika called, waiting for Sanemi to give the signal. The cloud descended further, roars of the oncoming foes filled the air, yet Sanemi didn't give the signal. They were within eyesight now, Sanemi still didn't give the signal. The weapons could be heard, and the united heartbeats that they gave. They were getting closer and closer.
"CHARGE!" Sanemi called out, catching the opponents off guard, the army clashed against each other. Tornadoes of dust spiralling into the air. Sanemi's sword clashed against his opponent's. He screamed as he struck his sword and tore down all those who came in his path. He used the gale that was pushing him to strike all the opponents in quick succession.
"Well well, look who it is... my little lost fish~" A voice came from behind him and Sanemi froze, he knew that voice, the one that denied him his dignity as their hands roamed his body. He turned around and looked at the opponent dead in the eye.
"Gyoko."
"I see you still remember me. My little fish~" Gyoko said, as he stepped closer. His pink hair was slicked back with copious amounts of oil that Sanemi thought wasn't needed and he was wearing a fish mask.
"I will make you pay for what you did to me." Sanemi said, rage dripping from his voice.
"Oh really? I thought I already paid your father, was it not given to you? We could do it again my love~ this time I'll pay double~" He said, Sanemi nearly gagged, he could feel panic creep up his throat at what the person in front of him promised. The phantom hands were back again, clawing at him and Sanemi knew he was being emotionally driven.
