"Sanemi?" Masachika called out, he had not heard from Sanemi since the attack on the tribe, and being his best friend, he had started to feel a little bit lonely.

"Come in Kumeno." Sanemi called out, he had neatly organised the files that he had taken from Giyuu. They lay on his table, complete with detailed instructions.

"Hey, I was wondering if we could talk?" Masachika tentatively said after entering the room. Sanemi turned around, staring deep into his bestfriends eyes.

"You're acting as if you've never met me." Sanemi teased, and Kumeno laughed.

"Can I hug you?" Kumeno asked, he had been feeling so alone, so useless, he felt like Sanemi got hurt. He knew he was being paranoid but he just wanted to put those feelings to rest. Sanemi looked at his questioningly, but opened his arms anyways.

In one long stride Masachika wrapped his hands around the omega's torso and pulled him into a bear hug. He buried his face into Sanemi's neck and stayed there, letting all the tension roll off his body.

He smelt a scent in front of him, and recognised it after a few seconds. The scent of vanilla and lavender, with a hint of spice. Sanemi. The omega was releasing his scent, something that he almost never did. Masachika pulled away, looking at Sanemi for confrontation. The omega just pulled him back.

"I don't mind if you breathe in my scent, I just need you to relax." Sanemi's arms found its way to Masachika's hair, and he began to ruffle it in small patterns, a movement that Masachika immensely liked.

"I've been feeling weird, like, like there's something I'm missing. Like there's something I should do." Masachika confesses.

"I know I'm hyperactive, but it's getting frustrating!" Masachika continued. Sanemi patiently listened to his rant and let his scent out to make the alpha feel a bit better. An idea popped into his mind.

"If I give you something to do, will that help?" Sanemi asked, he tried his best not to laugh when Masachika eagerly started nodding.

"Go to the armoury and find out the type of each weapon and which terrain it would suit." Sanemi had cleverly given something that Masachika was interested in to make sure that the alpha enjoyed the task. The black haired man nodded quickly and departed to do his given task.

Sanemi smiled, watching how immature yet adorable his childhood friend was.

A knock pulled him out from his reverie and he walked to slide open the door. He saw Giyuu, standing there, well rested and a lot less stressed.

"Shinungawaza-san" He greeted, and Sanemi gave a curt nod in reply.

"I was wondering if you were free today? I would like to take you somewhere." The alpha stated, Sanemi was slightly bewildered.

"Do you have any work to finish?" He asked, remembering how tired the alpha had looked the night before.

"Well, after last night's good sleep, I was able to finish all that pending work. I never got to thank you for taking on a fraction of it." Giyuu told him. That reminded Sanemi, he went to his table and picked up the scrolls of paper and handed them to the alpha.

"Here you are, the scrolls that I took from you yesterday. They're all in order, so no need to break your shitty head all over it." Sanemi said.

"Thank You. So, are you free? Or should I come back later?" Giyuu asked once again and Sanemi nodded.

"I'm free right now, but I ain't changing, you either deal with me in this or don't deal with me at all." Sanemi made his statement clear and the alpha nodded.
