The amount of time that I was on pinterset for the outfits!!!! I could have slept! Images belong to those who made them. Credits to them.
The day was finally here, after a month of planning, organising, sleepless nights and much more, it was here. The day Sanemi would marry Giyuu. Sanemi honestly felt happy, he really felt safe and cherished around Giyuu. The alpha seemed to feel the same way about him. They were happy with each other and that was what made Sanemi happy. He felt his heart flutter when he opened his eyes that morning. He had awoken before the sun had even risen. He was promptly greeted by the face of Kanae. She was getting his morning rites' outfit ready. She smiled warmly at him and gestured for him to follow her. The female omega led Sanemi to a tub of milky blue liquid. She helped him into it, removing his robe along the way. Sanemi could smell the sweet scent of the liquid and how cool it felt against his skin. Kanae sprinkled different herbs and accents into the water as Sanemi bathed in the liquid. He was then helped out again and taken again to another tub filled with sparkling water. He was merely rinsed in that tub. Once he got out Kanae helped him into his outfit. She did some light makeup on his face, mainly eyeliner. When he turned to look at himself in the mirror he gasped.
His suit was airy and flowing. The different accents of white and yellow give him a feel as if he were draped in a breeze. The small tinkling accents at the end of his cape sounded at the lightest of movements. The cape itself was translucent, but was the main eye-capturing element of the entire outfit. He felt confident in his appearance and nodded to himself. He opened the door and over there stood Genya in his own crisp purple suit.
Sanemi smiled fondly at his brother , who was tasked with leading Sanemi to the edge of Galbog lake for the morning rites. It was tradition that the omega's sibling or father would lead them to the morning rites' venue. For the marriage it would be the guardian and for the evening party (which was just a celebration) they walked on their own, as their own person. Genya gave Sanemi a cheeky smile and held out his hand and began to lead him to the venue.
The most frustrating thing about the tradition was that the two mates-to-be had to stay away from one another for at least a week, no touching, no seeing, no scenting, nothing. It had Sanemi having a pent up anxiousness to see Giyuu. One more thing that had him anxious to see the alpha was that they hadn't seen each other in their outfits, nor had they seen the outfits of the other. If Sanemi's outfit was this pretty, then how would Giyuu's be? The omega cut off that trail of thought as his brother eased him into a man-held carriage and proceeded to be one of the people who held the carriage up. The journey was agonisingly slow. Sanemi wasn't even allowed to peep out the window. After what felt like a thousand years the carriage finally came to a halt. The curtain was pulled open and Sanemi cautiously stepped out. He was met with rows of people waiting for him to step toward the altar. Sanemi's eyes raked around trying to find Giyuu. He set his eyes on a curtain of white cloth. The light seemed to give a way that someone was standing in the confines of the fabric. Sanemi let the ghost of a smile grace his features. He elegantly walked to the altar and made his way up the stairs and stood by the curtain that separated him and Giyuu. The priests muttered a small chant. They instructed Sanemi to throw a coloured pigment on the curtain. The omega did so, letting the wispy blue colour fall against the white fabric, he noticed a darker blue stain the fabric from the opposite side. He guessed that Giyuu had thrown the pigment like he did. The priests began muttering again. They gestured for Sabito, who was poised at the side of Giyuu, to come forward. The alpha dutifully did so. He lit the match and tossed it on the curtain. The fabric immediately burned within a few seconds. As the curtain burned, it slowly revealed Giyuu to Sanemi's eyes. And the omega wanted to preen at how the alpha looked.
The Alpha had his hair braided with pearls and his outfit was blue with white accents. There were different shades of indigo that stained his cape and he was wearing a white shirt with a navy blue vest. His coat was white dipped in the lightest shades of blue at the tips. Jewellery such as sapphires and diamonds were on his person, giving him an impression of a regal prince.
