Sanemi was bound, the rope infiltrating his mouth, wrapping around his neck in a chokehold. He was in the torture chamber again and this time, there was no escape. He heard footsteps echoing through the hallway. Loud booming voices filling the place he once called home. He door creaked open, a swarm of people flooding in, each one more sinister than the last. The first inched closer to Sanemi, with a whip in their hand, they raised the weapon, ready to bring it down....

"Shinungawaza-san?" The voice woke Sanemi up from that bad dream. He jolted up in his bed, sweat beading his forehead. He turned to see who's voice it was, blinking the sleep away from his eyes. He saw Kanae.

"Kocho-san, what are you doing here?" he asked, rubbing his eyes and willing them to see clearly.

"Are you okay?" She asked, completely avoiding the question. Sanemi stiffened, was he okay?

"Yeah, just a bad dream, nothing I can't handle. So back to what I was asking, why are you here?" He diverted. Kanae was uncertain about howSanemi had responded but decided to let it pass.

"Giyuu-san has asked me to get you ready. Today he'll be taking you to oversee the work done by various individuals." She said. Sanemi got up from bed.

"Really? Any particular reason why?" He asked as he went behind the curtain to remove his clothes.

"He said that you have good insight on various things and would like to see how your insights work." Kanae replied as she went to run a bath for Sanemi. The omega got out from the dresser with a bathrobe on and got into the bath. He rinsed himself with the warm water and let the towel fall loose around his waist. He got out and saw what Kanae had picked to be his outfit.

It was his regular V-neck paired with cargo pants. The V-neck was full-sleeved, but tight fitting. The omega smiled, clearly liking this combo. Kanae left the room to give Sanemi some privacy as he changed. When Sanemi got out he marvelled at his own reflection. He wasn't a vain person, but looking at his simple attire made him feel powerful. His hand closed around the pendant that Giyuu had given him, and he felt even more secure. Feeling like he could battle a storm, he exited the room and went towards the estate door.

Giyuu saw Sanemi and for the umpteenth time willed himself to get a grip. The omega looked stunning in such homespun attire and it got Giyuu wondering how Sanemi would look if someone designed something especially for him. Giyuu cleared his throat to get the omega's attention. Sanemi turned around and nodded in greeting.

"Kanae told me you wanted me to help you oversee the work done by somebody?" Sanemi began to clarify. And Giyuu nodded.

"It's not actually work, just the training of the forces and their tactics." Giyuu supplied. Sanemi nodded. They made their way on foot to the armoury, Sanemi wasn't stunned to find Masachika there, gawking over some weapon. He gave a smile as a greeting and Masachika reciprocated the same. They headed towards the training centre where all the forces were training. Sanemi scanned the field and took something to notice.

"Where's Sabito?" He asked and Giyuu sighed.

"He goes to get stuff, like energy bars for the trainees. It's just that he chooses important times to do so." The alpha said, earning a chuckle from Sanemi. They peered back at the field and saw the trainees closing in on one another in a mock-battle.

They watched as the trainees charged at each other, parrying hits with their wooden swords. But Sanemi's gaze was on one person, a small boy, at most the age of thirteen was training. The armour he was given was too big for him and the sword too heavy for his nimble hands. He was lean and thin, his skin pale and hair dark. Sanemi watched as he stumbled and staggered around the field. He looked at the opponent side and saw how brutal they were. This seemed to anger him.

"Pause the game." Sanemi told Giyuu, the alpha looked at him but did so without question. The entire field looked stopped and bowed as Giyuu held his hand up, waiting for their chief to say something. Giyuu looked at Sanemi.

"You, come forward." Sanemi spoke, pointing at the boy. The boy came forward, his legs trembling.

"What's your name?" Sanemi asked, the boy was quivering.

"A-A-Aito." He managed out.

"Well Aito, let me ask you a question. Do you want to be here or not?" Sanemi asked, his words causing the entire field to look at him. The boy stared at him, his eyes moist.

"Y-y-yes s-s-sir." he stammered out.

"Then why the hell would you choose a weapon that would bring you down?" Sanemi snapped. The boy looked down at his hand, the one that was holding the sword.

"That weapon doesn't suit your body, train with something that does till you can get there. And all of you.." Sanemi addressed the crowd.

"Why the hell do you fight as individuals!? In a war your army is the only family you have. There is no point attacking on your own. Work as a team. Are you a tribe or what?" The words seemed to spur on the army, they were getting frenzied.

"Work as an army, show us what you're capable of." Sanemi said, the entire crowd cheered and ran to resume the mock battle.

"Well done." Sanemi turned to see Giyuu,

"You told them what was the main element they were missing, well done." Giyuu said and Sanemi looked away, fighting a blush on his face. A man came rushing to Giyuu and frantically whispered something in his ear, Giyuu's eyes widened and he nodded.

"Sanemi, I have to go, please take Masachika and head back to the estate. I will arrive shortly." Giyuu said before hurrying off in a frenzy. Sanemi was bewildered. He dragged Masachika to his feet and walked toward the estate. As they were walking, Kanae ran to them.

"You must come, you'll be needed if things go out of hand!" She panted, with no explanation she dragged Sanemi to a courtyard where a group of people were gathered. They wer whispering and debating about something that was in the centre. Sanemi peeked above them to get a glimpse. What he saw horrified him.

Sabito, with his eyes dilated and fangs dropping , was growling at Giyuu. The prime seemed to have no recollection of who Giyuu was and seemed to think of Giyuu as a threat. His growls got louder, scaring many people who were witnessing this. But Giyuu was unfazed. He calmly took a step forward, halting as Sabito growled. He took one step after the other, moving towards the feral alpha. Sabito glared at Giyuu, finally having had enough he pounced. He jumped towards Giyuu, his claws outstretched trying to aim for his throat. Giyuu calmly sidestepped. Sabito turned midway and lunged for Giyuu again, and Giyuu jumped back. Both of them tried to land hits on eachother, Sabito's moves rough and uncalculated while Giyuu moved fluently like water. Sanemi wanted to run into the scene and force the two alphas apart, but his feet remained glued to the floor with awe in what he was witnessing. Giyuu had finally gotten hold of Sabito's scruff and pinned him to the ground. Giyuu growled at the crowd, his fangs dropping ever so little. The crowd immediately looked away, but Sanemi couldn't. He watched as Giyuu leaned towards Sabito's scent gland, fangs outstretched, and bit down. Sabito let out a muffled scream before falling limp.

A head alpha's mark. Sanemi thought. A head alpha could take control of any sub-gender by just biting them. This bite is said to quickly calm down the person being bitten and will ease them into submission. Sanemi immediately turned away. He wouldn't want Giyuu to pull that stunt on him. He pushed himself into the crowd. Not registering the hands around his neck.

The last thing he saw was the mark Giyuu left on Sabito before he was pulled into darkness.
