"Is he the one?"
"Yes, he's the alpha's betrothed."
"He's heavy"
Whispers that Sanemi didn't understand along with the ringing in his ear irritated him. Though he was semi-unconscious he was aware of what was happening. Three people were holding him and taking him somewhere, judging by the steepness, they were going downhill, or underground. He groaned, fighting against whatever drug they had used to render him unresponsive. He was thrown on something and could feel the rough hairy edges of rope around his hands and feet. He was sitting so he came to the conclusion that he was tied to a chair. He groaned once again as he fought the pull of sleep, whatever drug was in his system was wearing off. He just needed to break through.
He forced his eyes open, trying to blink away the sluggish sleep he had been put in. His vision was blurred but Sanemi could make the outline of three people in front of him. Where was he? He groaned again and finally eluded the pull of sleep.
"Where the fuck am I?" He asked, his tone menacing despite the circumstance he was in.
"Oh, someone's got a sharp tongue." He heard a giggle, there was a man. Sanemi looked up at the man, one look and he could tell that this man was an omega. His petite body and scent gave that away.
"Yeah, I've got a sharp tongue, it's the first sword I wield." Sanemi sneered, he tugged at the ropes that held him back from charging at this omega.
"Calm down, we're only here for a chat." The omega seethed, blowing his blonde hair out of his face.
"I'm pretty sure that if you wanted to talk, you wouldn't have kidnapped me and brought me to this abomination of a residence." The other omega laughed. Sanemi looked around, trying to find some clue to where he was. He set his eyes upon a few empty cartons. If he could create a distraction he could go back the way he came.
"Let me tell you, we just want to talk and give you a deal. If you agree to it then we're on good terms! If you don't..." The omega ended with a sinister grin, turning the blade that was in her hands. Sanemi growled.
"I ain't doing shit for you!" He spat, he was stalling, trying to figure out a possible escape route. The omega in front of him cackled.
"Just listen and you might want this deal." He said. And Sanemi huffed.
"Speak then, though I hardly doubt you would get me to change my decision." Sanemi replied.
"My honour." The omega gritted out. He motioned to another omega to come forward and hand him a piece of cloth.
"We would like you to join our group, a covenant of only omegas. Our aim? To cement omega rule." He said.
"You are a powerful omega, you could do anything you want with the supplies we give you. You could be free forever. At a price of course." The omega continued.
"What would this price be?" Sanemi inquired, he needed information. The other omega smiled.
"The price would be that you don't mate to an alpha. Not ever." The omega smiled.
"And what would I have to do for the sake of this freedom?" Sanemi asked.
The omega gave a sinister grin.
"Not something you can't handle
Kill Giyuu Tomioka."
* * *
"WHAT!?" Giyuu's voice raised, Kanae flinched at the sudden aggression. Giyuu was known to be a calm alpha, but right now he was absolutely seething.
"You're telling me that Shinungawaza-san got kidnapped under your watch?" Giyuu spoke again, this time much calmer than the previous one.
"Y-Yes, my lord please forgive me, I shouldn't have left him alone, it's my fault." Kanae stammered, she was instantly silenced by Giyuu with a raise of his hand.
"I doubt that you even thought such a thing would happen. Shinobu, take Sabito to the infirmary, I will converse with him later. Kane, you and I will go to find Shinungawaza-san." Giyuu announced. He took his Katana off the rack and placed it on his hip. He gestured for Kanae to lead the way.
I'm coming Sanemi
* * *
"I am not killing Tomioka!" Sanemi hollered, his hands thrashed against the restraints he had been put in. How dare this omega think that?
"Oh? You don't see how much of a danger he is to you?" The omega questioned and Sanemi growled.
Giyuu never posed a threat to him, if anything Giyuu was like an awkward friend. The alpha was trying so hard for Sanemi to feel safe. Sanemi's mind wandered to the night they had spent near the Galbog lake, the night they had played shoji and conversed. No, Sanemi no longer looked at Giyuu as a threat. Maybe not a friend, but not a threat either. And he sure wasn't going to make a deal with this demented omega to kill Giyuu.
"Fuck off." Sanemi seethed. He bared his fangs at the omega and he felt his muscles tightening. The omega just laughed at his antiques.
"Would you still treat him the same once you know how he treats omegas?" The other omega mused, and Sanemi stilled.
Other omegas? Sanemi internally questioned
As if he had heard Sanemi's question, the omega laughed.
"You don't know, do you? You don't know that he killed an omega?" The omega saks and Sanemi freezes.
Killed? Murder? For what reason? Sanemi asked himself.
"The omega he killed was our leader. He was going to be mated to Tomioka's sister, Tomioka killed this omega. And not kindly, the body was burnt." The omega seethed.
"Even after that he continued to resent any omega he met. My sister was killed by him in battle!" The omega screamed with emotion. Sanemi growled.
"I don't believe that shit. Not one bit!" Because Sanemi had seen how kind Giyuu was to Tanjiro, to Kane, to him. There was no way Giyuu had done something so cruel.
"You don't believe it?" The omega scoffed. He took a dangerous step forward and cut the ropes on Sanemi's legs and arms.
"Fight us then. You want to uphold his honour? Fight us." The omega seethed. Sanemi gingerly rubbed his wrists and smirked.
"Gladly." He surged ahead and flipped one of the omegas onto their back and disarmed them. He used the weapon to fend off the attacks that were being thrown in his direction. As he made the other omega topple he turned his gaze to the leader. Readying his new weapon he surged ahead. The leader smirked.
White hot pain covered every inch of his body.
Sanemi staggered and fell to the floor, clutching his chest.
The Drug! He thought. Whatever they had made him inhale must be what's causing him this pain. He looked up at the omega leader and cursed him.
"Now you will die, and you will regret not joining our covenant." He said and poised the dagger against Sanemi's throat. Sanemi could do nothing, he felt as helpless as he did when he used to be sold away to other alphas. Was this how he was going to end?
Giyuu disarmed the omega and flipped him over. Sanemi's ears were ringing, whatever this drug was doing to him was painful. He let out a whimper. Giyuu's eyes snapped towards the omega in pain
"KANAE!" He called out and the omega was by Sanemi's side in mere seconds. Sanemi clutched her and whimpered, the world was spinning and his ears were ringing. He looked at the battle scene. One alpha against three omegas. The lead omega shouted something that Sanemi could not comprehend, his focus was on the alpha. He watched as Giyuu stiffened, and his face contorted in pure rage. The Alpha unsheathed his sword and beheaded all three omegas, Sanemi was paralyzed.
What if what they told him was right? Giyuu may be dangerous?
