Giyuu's rut ended in three days. Three days in which Sanemi helped him out and in turn was helped out too. Giyuu didn't do anything to make Sanemi uncomfortable, and that had Sanemi feeling butterflies. He felt pleasure and not pain for the first time in his life. He absolutely relished in how Giyuu touched him, he felt whole and happy. After the Rut, they were given about a few days to rest and then the preparations began.

Sanemi and Giyuu had to sign many papers, give out invitations, visit prosperous families, go to the florist, get the venue and the catering booked, the priests in time and don't get started on all the vows they had to make. Sanemi's family had come to Aqua while this frenzy was going on and he hardly had any time to be with them. Though he still did have pack cuddling session and it was more often than not when Kanae walked in on him hugging one of his siblings. He was currently in the hands of the designer, she was taking measurements for the outfit Sanemi was going to wear. Giyuu was standing beside him, already having his measurements taken.

"Which outfit do you want to wear for the marriage, evening party and morning rites respectively?" Giyuu asked as he pulled the curtain to reveal different combinations of silk, cotton, linen, and other fabrics intricately woven into different outfits. Stunningly, none of them were gowns.

"I get to choose?" Sanemi asked, normally he had to ust live with the outfit that was picked out for him in ceremonies. This was, in fact, a pleasant change. Giyuu turned to look at him and gave him a small (barely there) smile.

"Yes. I've seen how uncomfortable you look in gowns, so I asked the designer not to make any, unless you want to wear one. And you do get to choose. I feel like one must be confident while wearing such an outfit on this given occasion." Giyuu said and Sanemi nodded.

He got down from the pedestal once his measurements were taken and walked along the row of mannequins. He let his hand drape across all the fabrics and told the designer which ones he wanted to wear. Once the decision was made, he turned around to see Giyuu waiting for him.

"Do we have anything else to do?" Sanemi asked and Giyuu nodded.

"I want to take you somewhere." Giyu said and Sanemi raised his small eyebrow.

"Where? Do we even have the time?" Sanemi asked. Giyuu gave a low chuckle.

"Yes we do, now come along." Giyuu said and Sanemi patiently followed him.

Giyuu and Sanemi were riding their horses along a small path. They parked the two equestrians and Giyuu began to lead Sanemi through the thicket of leaves. He opened the leaves to show Sanemi the backwaters of Galbog lake. The sight was mesmerising. The sky above appeared clear and calm, with soft clouds drifting by. The water seemed to reflect the sky and made Sanemi feel like it was indeed a gateway to a far away world.

"What are we doing here?" Sanemi asked and Giyuu smiled.

"We're going to go for a swim." He replied and Sanemi looked at him bewildered. The Alpha had asked him to pack extra clothes, and now he understood the reason. He watched as Giyuu removed his haori and Shirt, exposing his upper body to the world around them. The alpha then began to walk into the water, sending ripples on its surface. Sanemi quickly followed, removing his overclothes. He gently manoeuvred himself into the water, surprised at how warm it felt. He was about waist-deep in when he felt arms wrap around his hips. He turned to meet Giyuu's eyes.

The alpha smiled at him and gently picked him up in the water, the omega weighing nothing. He then paddled to the middle of the lake and let Sanemi's feet dangle in the water.
