   Georgina's pov

For the last eight months since I finalized high school, the only thing that has been on my mind is the day I was going to join university. I had been eagerly awaiting this day, especially recalling all the hyped stories my brother and my high school teachers had told me.
My brother mostly hyped the campus boys saying they are very good-looking,  they are rich boys and dress very coolly. I used to feel like he meant they were those guys you admire and want to be associated with.  I was eager to see those boys. However, he warned me about them, saying not all of them are good as they seemed.

My high school deputy said that campus was all fun. She said that campus students are free to do whatever they wished for. Like going to clubs, miss classes and even having open relationships. Such stories made me want nothing less in life than to get to campus.  I hated high school life, I hated how we were treated like grade-four kids. We had no freedom. We had to attend all classes. Parting was a forgotten vocabulary in my school and having an affair was the worst crime you could ever commit. All these rules made me work hard to join campus. I worked effortlessly and managed to a good grade. Finally the day I was eagerly waiting was here.

" Hey, Georgina are you ready? My brother asked after he knocked on my door.

" Yes," I replied and stepped out after opening the door.

" You look amazing, little sister," My brother said passing his eyes through my body.

I was wearing skinny blue jeans, a white crop top that matched my Nike sneakers and a black leather jacket. My make-up was on point and my striking hairstyle was nothing less than perfect.
I had to look good, it was going to be my day one on campus and of course, my best friend,  June, had told me to make sure I looked cute while joining campus. She had forced me into clothes shopping a week before today.

"Thank you," I responded.

My brother and I left the house and used his white new Audi to get to the university. I sat with my brother in the front seat. He was a good driver and so he drove quite easily, he always drove easily. I admired his driving skills. He is the kind of a guy who can drive while doing other things like using his phone or even playing cards. One day at home parking lot he drove using his legs scaring me to death.

"Are you nervous?' Marcus finally asked.

"Yes," I said
"I have always been excited for this day and you know that brother"  I added.

"Come on ,Gee!"  He exclaimed.
"It's just like how you felt joining high school. It's gonna be fine. Nothing to worry about. " He said caressing my hand gently.

"You said the campus is different. I'm nervous about the stories you told me. You know the...

" Boys." As if he knew what I was going to say my brother cut me off.

"Gee, don't overthink about the boys. Remember I'm taking you to campus to study.  It is the core business, okay?  Marcus said in a serious tone. I knew he was dead serious and so I nodded my head in agreement.

After one hour we arrived at the university.  There were a lot of people all over. My brother and I  headed to the administration offices and after thirty minutes we were done with the registration and enrollment for my medical engineering degree.

"Should we head back home?" Marcus asked as we stepped out of the offices.

"It's still early. Let's find something to do." I responded.

"Okay. There's an ongoing graduation in the field. Do you think we should go see it?" Marcus asked and I nodded.

We strolled to the graduation square where the senior's graduation was happening and once we were there we occupied the middle seats and focused on the ceremony.
