My Half-Demon Boyfriend

Chapter 78

*Author's pov*

Finn walked back inside his house wearing a Tux. Taking stock of the surroundings, he glimpsed at his mom, Gordon, the boys and Nicky Sutton sitting around a wooden table that was set at the center of the living room. Detective Julia was emptying drinks into empty glasses that were placed around the table.

"Hello, Everyone." Finn spoke
"Where's everyone else?" He shot an inquiry

"They'll be arriving shortly." Gordon responded, he then went ahead and sipped his whisky.
A second later, the door bell rang and Finn grinned at Gordon then said; " It's like they were waiting for me to ask. Anyway, I'll go get the door."

Finn walked to the door and once he was at it, he proceeded to open it.

"Hello, Finn." Shelby spoke and walked past him. The rest of the guests ( half demons from the party) matched right behind her. Finn closed the door and followed them to the table. Everyone took their seats and started to enjoy their drinks.

"It's good to see you, Shelby."

"Are you sure?" Have you forgotten that you kicked me out?" Shelby asked

"I am sorry about that."

"You summoned us here saying it's important, Peterson. Why not tell us what you wanted with us?" Gordon spoke

"Hold on to that thought, Gordon." Detective Julia said
"The food is ready and I would like Finn to help me bring it here first." She added

"Sure,  I am starving." Gordon said

Detective Julia and Finn exited the living room and headed for the kitchen.

"What's the plan?" Finn asked

"We are going to bring the food on the table and after we are done eating. I'll come back here to get more drinks. I have already spiked them. I'll serve everyone from the spiked bottles except for us." Julia responded

"Are you sure they are not going to sense that you didn't serve both of us?"

"They won't. Once I get to you, I'll drop the bottle on the floor then act like it slipped from my hands. I'll then excuse myself to go get another bottle that will be unspiked. "

"Okay, sounds great."

"What's keeping you?" Shelby asked as soon as she stepped in the kitchen. She startled both of them.
"We are all starving. Come on, I will help you bring food to the table." She added

"Okay, thanks." Julia said, she then asked to bring the plates and spoons to the table while she and Finn brought the food in dishes.

Everyone settled and started eating after serving themselves.

"Is Liam not home yet?" Nicole asked

"He's spending the night at Alex's." Finn responded

"And why's that?"

"I don't think it's your business to ask that." Finn responded
"But if you must know. He has been staying with Alex for months now. I'll bring him back soon." He added

"Did you kick him out too?" Shelby asked

"No. He's my Brother. I would never do that."

"I am you sister...

"Half-sister." Finn cut her off

"We are not here to talk about your family problems. Tell us why you called us here, Finn Peterson." Gordon spoke

"I called all of you here to apologize for disrupting the party we had at your house. I started a fight that messed up the party and I have since then been feeling bad about it. " Finn responded
"This is a make up party and I want all of you to know that I am on your side"
