Chapter 74

Georgina was having a great spirit as she prepared going back to school. She had spent the weekend feeling great after reconnecting with her friends and learning that Jasper and his friends had gotten what they deserved. She quickly passed her eyes on the wall mirror and she grinned at her reflection. According to her she was looking great in her black mom-jeans, a gold-like crop top and a pair of white sneakers that matched her purse.
She stepped out of her room after she applied her lipstick and perfume.

"Good morning, Marcus. How was your night?"

"You look like you had a great one. Are you excited about going back to school?"

"Yes, a little." Georgina responded
"Anyway, how do I look?" Georgina asked

"You crushed the look." Marcus responded
"Breakfast is almost ready."

"I am not hungry. I'll grab something at the school cafeteria and I also don't want to mess up my lipstick. It took time to apply. I'll go check it one last time." Georgina responded. She then placed her purse and phone on the table and turned to the wall mirror in the living room.
Her phone vibrated on the table. She turned around to see was the caller but Marcus caught a glimpse of it before she did.

"Finn Peterson! " Marcus exclaimed

"Whoa!" Georgina exclaimed
She wasn't expecting a call from Finn. They hadn't spoken since they saved him at the mall's rooftop.

"You don't have to answer."

"Yes, I do. I want to hear what he has to say." Georgina said and answered the phone

"Put it on speaker." Marcus spoke. Georgina did as asked and placed the phone on the table. Both sat down and waited for Finn to say why he had called.

"Hey; I am sorry I called but I didn't know who else to call. I am so exited right now, Georgina." Finn spoke over the phone

"What is going on, Finn?"

"I don't know what happened but I am just from a phone with Mr Aaron and he said that I have been cleared of Jasper's allegations and that my scholarship is back on. I can go back to school, Georgina. Isn't that a miracle?'"

"For a Half-demon that's a weird thing to say. " Marcus responded

"Ooh, I didn't know I was on speaker. I am sorry. I shouldn't have called."

"It's okay. I am happy for you. You deserve it. " Georgina spoke

"Thank you." Finn and ended the call.

"So, what happened? How did he get cleared?"

"Raven, Helena and Julie found some proof on Jasper's phone saying that they tried to... You know.  They gave it to the school board and Jasper and his friends got suspended and Finn got cleared." Georgina responded

"If the evidence was concrete then I suppose Jasper and his friends are going to prison or they are already there, right?"

"We will see. It's hard to tell since our only friend from the station got fired."

"What? Detective Julia got fired?"

"Yes."

"How do you know so much? You have been indoors and I outdoors and I don't know anything. "

"I just got good sources that brings information to me. Anyway, I gotta go now. I don't wanna run late." Georgina responded
"I'll see you after school." She added and grabbed her phone and purse and exited the house.

After about twenty minutes, Georgina pulled over at the students lot. She jumped down carrying her purse on her left hand and started walking towards the classrooms. After a few steps someone called her name and recognized the voice. She grinned then turned around.
