My Half-Demon Boyfriend

Chapter 9

Georgina

We sat down at my house with Raven and Helena. I had invited them over for a weekend lunch hang out. We sat down to eat and laughed at stupid stories. 
After a few minutes, Helena's phone popped with a notification. She grabbed it and smiled.

"It's Jules. She's asking how I am but don't worry I am gonna call her later." She said and grinned.

"Since when did she become Jules and not Julie?" I asked.

"Since I fell in love with her," Helena responded.

"What about you, Gee? You said you never had a boyfriend, right?" Raven asked and I nodded.

"And you are forgetting she's also a virgin," Helena said and both laughed sarcastically.

"Is it a big deal?" I asked.

"Yes, it is." They said in unison.

"I mean like we are on campus already. It's ridiculous to be single or a virgin." Raven said.

"Yeah, I know I am a weirdo but can we drop it?  I don't wanna discuss my sex life with you." I said and before they protested the doorbell rang.

"Ooh! There comes my saviour." I said and sprinted to open the door. 
At the door, Finn was standing nervously.  I was startled to see him, especially recalling what Marcus told me last night.

"Hey." He spoke first. 
"I am sorry for the announced visit. I didn't know they were here." He added.

"Who?" I asked.

"Us," Helena said from behind me. I turned around and noticed they were ready to leave. They had their jackets on and their purses too.

"Guys, what are you doing? You are supposed to stay until evening." I spoke

"Yeah, but we changed our minds. We are leaving." Raven responded.

"No. You can't leave." I protested.

"Yes, we can. We are leaving. See you, tomorrow sweetie." Helena said and kissed my cheek. 
"If a chance comes for you to sleep with him, don't let it slip," she added and giggled sheepishly.

"See you," Raven said and both walked away.

"You got good friends," Finn said. 
"Can I come in?" He asked and I allowed him in.

"What do you want?" I asked.

"I wanna talk." He responded.

"Ooh wow!" I exclaimed and giggled. 
"Well, you now wanna talk? Sorry, but you are late. I know everything, Finn. I know your identity and your powers. I know what you are capable of." I added startling him. I could see his face start to change.

"What are you talking about?" He asked

"Don't act dumb with me. You know exactly what I am talking about." I said. 
"I know you lied about your tattoo. I know it stands for half-demon. I know you are not human and you lied about everything." I spoke. Finn stared at me perplexed.

"So you ain't gonna say anything? Not even about how dangerous your powers are?"

"Georgina, I wanted to tell you everything but I didn't know how."

"Come on! Drop that bullshit. You never wanted to tell me anything and you made that very clear." I spoke in a raised voice.

"Yeah, you are right. I never wanted to tell you coz I was afraid of losing you."

"But you still did. Your lies did." I said firmly.

"Is that why you became friends with me? To make sure I don't find out about your family and to sweep the case under the rug? You never cared about anything, did you?" I asked angrily.
