Chapter 22

Georgina's pov

We sat at the doctor's office with Finn as the doctor noted down my details. Finn was holding my hand and caressing it gently.

" What happened to your neck, Miss Davis?" The doctor asked

"It was her cat that attacked her." , "It was my dog that attacked me."  Finn and I responded together respectively.
The Doctor shot a glance at us and then asked, "Which one is it?"

" What she said. It was her dog that attacked her. I am sorry I confused it with a cat."  Finn responded

" How old is your dog? Is it big?" The doctor asked

"It's seven years old and yes, very big." , " Its only two years old." Finn and I responded together again respectively. The doctor shot another questioning glance at us

" What is wrong with you, Finn?" I asked myself as I stared at him. He grinned at me. 

" I am sorry doctor, my boyfriend is just tired. He had a busy night. He works for the cops ." I apologized

"I don't work for the cops. I...

" Mr Peterson, please give us some minutes alone. I will take care of Miss Davis and she will catch up with you later." The doctor said cutting him off. Finn hesitated on his seat.

"Go." I said in a raised voice and Finn walked out

" You are okay for now, Miss Davis." The doctor said after ten minutes of inspecting my neck.

" Thank you." I said

" Take the drugs I prescribed for you and you will get better soon and if the situation persists feel free to come back to me." The doctor said

" Thank you doctor. I will see you soon if anything happens. Excuse me now." I said and took my bag then started walking.

" Miss Davis." The doctor called my name and I stopped then turned to him.
" Be careful and don't bring Mr Peterson next time."

" Of course I will bring him. He is stubborn and I know you noticed that."

" Yeah, you can bring him but he will be well received to stay outside."

" What ever doctor." I said and walked away. I found Finn waiting outside the hospital. As soon as he saw me he approached me.

" Are you okay?" He asked

" Yes, I am fine." I said still walking

" Are you still mad at me?" Finn asked

" What was that  about ?
" Why were you interrupting my talk with the doctor? what was wrong with you?" I asked

" I was trying to help you. I thought you didn't know what to answer." Finn responded

" Come on, Finn, I know it was about how I talked to you earlier."

" I was just helping and about  what happened in the earlier it was all my fault and I am sorry and I will do anything to prove to you that I am sorry." Finn responded

" Get in the car. I will drive you to school and stay the hell away from you as I promised." Finn said and got inside the car. I got inside too and sat next to him.

About fifteen minutes later, Finn stopped at campus gate and turned to me and beckoned me to get out of his car.

" The classes are over but thank you dropping me." I said

" Okay, go." Finn responded

" Thank you." I said and kissed him without a warning and he didn't kiss me back.
